Simple mod that adds Black Gloves to the game.

[Black Gloves SSE]

[What does this mod do? / What does this mod require?]

A simple mod that adds pairs of Black Gloves to the game. Why such a thing isn't in vanilla is trivial.

The plugin itself is .ESL-flagged, so it will not take up a load order slot.
After some testing, it seems the .ESL flag isn't possible with this one.
Please update to the new non-ESL-flagged .ESP. Sorry about that!

Nothing else is strictly required other than Skyrim.esm .

However, a Bashed Patch is highly recommended when using it with other mods that edit leveled lists.

[Credits / Creation Details]

The texture included with this mod is based on the vanilla Brown Glove texture, with some coloration edits to make it match other clothing in it's set (Black Robes, Black Boots, etc.).

Thus, credit goes to Bethesda for their original texture, and thanks to their Creation Kit for making this possible, of course.

[Where to find them? / What are their stats?]

They can be bought at Radiant Raiment, some vendors may carry them, or they may even be looted from various Warlocks, Mages, and Necromancers around the province. You might even find them on Vampires!

As of V1.2, Warlocks have a 50/50 chance of having them on-hand, Mages in some World Encounters have a 25% chance of keeping their staves handled with them, while Necromancers of varying degrees have a 75% chance of carrying them (and with them the dead, I guess!). Vampires have about as much chance to have them as the Mages.

They aren't much different than the more common Brown Gloves, aside from color and a very slight price increase (about as much as a vanilla inn rental, perhaps). Black is a stylish color, you know!

[Installation]

Use whichever mod manager / installer you like. Load order shouldn't matter too much, but maybe sort your load order just in case.

As this mod edits some leveled lists, it is highly recommended to create a Bashed Patch using Wrye Bash and include this mod in it's dependencies when building the patch.

[Uninstallation]

Use your mod manager / installer to disable the mod, or at bare minimum, remove the .ESP that was included with this mod from your Data folder. Mod Organizer 2 makes all this very easy, by the way.

If you created a Bashed Patch with this mod as a dependency, you should rebuild it using Wrye Bash after uninstallation. Otherwise your game may crash to desktop upon starting!

[Conclusion / Permissions]

Many thanks to Bethesda and their Creation Kit software. Without them, this would not be possible.

More thanks to you, for reading, downloading, and enjoying this mod!

Skyrim LE Version here .

Permissions for the reuse of the texture included isn't restrictive, all I ask is you give credit where it is due, which is both AirChomp and Bethesda.

Now, go get yourself some of these dark, stylish gloves, and enjoy!
