Heresy Gear is a mod that seeks to expand the number of items available to adventurers of Skyrim, in the most compatible and lore-friendly way possible. Currently, 45 new weapons and 3 new shields are availabe. You can also find a Bag of Holding, which will increase your carrying capacity by "a lot". I have also added a recipe for crafting lockpicks at a forge and linen wrap at a tanning rack.
In order to maintain maximum compatibility, none of these items are added to leveled lists at this time, though that may change in the future if I can get the hang of scripting or anyone wishes to lend a hand. All items can be found in a convenient chest located at the crossroads between Helgen and The Guardian Stones. All weapons and shields can be crafted, improved and enchanted. All items require at least the Steel Smithing Perk, with the exception of any Crude, Primitive, or Iron weapons. In addition, items will require the corresponding Smithing Perks if a material is apparent, such as needing Ebony Smithing in order to craft Ebony Morning Stars.
All items are crafted at a forge, with the exception of the Primitive items and the Bag of Holding. The Bag of Holding will require the first Enchanter Perk in order to appear on the crafting list. It uses body slot 56, and would conflict with any other item that uses that slot. It requires equipping in order to receive its bonus, but as of now is not visible on character when viewed in 3rd Person view.
I would like to extend a big "Thank You!" to Lupas-Deva for her permission to use her Vector Celtic Wolf design, which you will find on The Nordic Raider War Axe and Battle Axe, as well as the Heaven's Wolf Shield.
There are currently no known compatibilty issues. The only known issues are some very slight, unavoidable clipping issues between the Heresy Gear items and certain armor sets. Have fun and enjoy all of my hard work!
