Unlike EVG mods for example, in this mod new interesting animations assigned to appear after mt_idle.hkx was played and probability of playing is pretty low and will only happen if conditions are met.
To make sure mod is working you can go to any place with enchanting table and command your follower to use it. There is at least 50% chance to play new enchanting animation. It might not play right away - 50/50, you know - but you can command your follower again and see it eventually.
Hey again CHIM! Just a little note about the Jarl sitting animations. It seems that, if you enable Gender Specific Animations in Nemesis, it can cause the new animations not to play unless the special_jarlchairidlewr files are put within female and male folders as well. For example, currently with my female character, neither 2099000065's jarl animation nor 2099000072's are playing for her. This happened to users of my mod as well.
My workaround was to simply copy each respective animation in their DAR folder, make a male and female subfolder, and paste them in it. This makes sure all bases are covered for both users and non users of Gender Specific Animations in Nemesis.
Hey! I'd recommend for anyone using this to edit the conditions in OAR slightly for certain animations. Particularly for the animations where NPCs will cross their arms over their chests n such. I had an issue where guards with shields would look goofy as heck with their arms crossed. You have to add a condition to OAR that will prevent the NPCs from using certain animations when they have a shield equipped in their left hand.
Basically hit shift O to open up the menu, put it in user mode in the upper right, expand the NPC Animation Remix submenu and do it for animation sets such as the idle folded hands animations. Expand the conditions menu, add condition, set it to IsEquippedType Shield and tick the negate and left hand condition. Save user submod config when done.
Hi! When you say about moving the folder (the leviathan anime) lower than this one, what do you mean by that? How do you do that? Do you just mean the priority number in the mod manger, or an OAR? I’m just really confused….
Is this compatible with All Geared Up Derivative (ALLGUD) as well? Are your other animation mods for OAR compatible with ALLGUD? I'm thinking of Gesture Animation Remix, Lively Children Animations and Arm Movement Animations. If they are, I would like to get them all. I understand they are made to compliment eachother, yes?
I'm experiencing an animation problem, and I will ask the question here since you have knowledge of such things. My followers keep making a "Cheering" gesture. Raising their fists as if they are watching a sporting event. I looked at my load order in SSEEdit, but I don't see anything related to "Cheering". I have the base OAR mod, this one, and a jarl sitting animation.
Any ideas on how to either get my followers to knock it off? ;P
That is very curious! Open console, select follower, activate OAR animation log and wait till cheering starts. Open console to stop time, you can comfortably read info about this animation in log. It can be something unusual, so better forward this info to me and I will tell what can be done with it
Guys, do you know if you can combine this mod plus Gesture Animation Remix (OAR) and Arm Motion Animations (OAR) because it does the animations very little and I feel like only from one of those 3 mods.
