Overview
My mod utilizes a small script that runs once (at game initialization) to distribute and equip chains and shackles to NPCs. Mod is currently configured to distribute and equip chains and shackles to:
BONUS: Mods that add prisoners will also receive chains and shackles. See Bigger Raven Rock Jail and Populated Skyrim Prisons Cells
Mod can be re-configured to distribute the chain and shackles to any NPC and / or any group of NPCs that you wish (e.g., ActorTypeNPC)! Edit the _DISTR.ini that comes with this mod, and add (or delete) any Form ID that you wish.
**October 1, 2022. I have uploaded an optional mod that replaces that default textures with TB's Better Chains for SMIM. No change to main mod. Optional mod needs/requires TB's Better Chains for SMIM.**
Compatibility
Highly compatible with most setups, and with most other mods.
Installation and Uninstallation
Use the mod manager of your choice to install. Or manually. To uninstall, remove with mod manager. My understanding is that SPID will not impact save games in any way. Safe to uninstall at anytime.
Configuration
Huge number of configuration options available in the _DISTR.ini. Some knowledge of Spell Perk Item Distributor (SPID) is useful to achieve desired results.

- Stormcloak, Thalmor, and Alik'r Prisoners
- Lokir and Roggvir
- Watchman
- Northwatch Prisoners
- Cidhna Mine Prisoners
- Prisoners in the Riften Jail and the Castle Dour Dungeon
- Fellglow Prisoners

- Spell Perk Item Distributor (SPID) does not edit levelled lists, and does not modify or generate new records.
- Body slots, however, are not compatible. Choose wisely, or edit the body slot. I will not alter body slots.
- Clipping will likely occur depending on setup. I will not resolve clipping issues.
