In vanilla Skyrim the Imperial Legion seems to have about three ranks: Soldier, Legate, and General. The Stormcloak rebellion is similarly organized, with seemingly no one between their regional commanders and rank-and-file soldiers. This mod seeks to alleviate that, if just a little.

Each faction has new officer npcs who are placed into vanilla world events. These npcs function as leaders of patrols and scouting parties, and command the minor skirmishes a player may sometimes come across.

And that's it. Mod is flagged as an esl, so your load order slots are safe.
Can be considered part of the same "suite" as The Jarl's Household Guard, Imperial Honor Guard, The Redoran Council Guard, and Jailors and Turnkeys.

This mod should be incapable of causing black face bugs.
Mods that edit the vanilla world events will require a patch.
A patch for UESSP is available as an optional download.
