Description
Adds a simple classic hud widget. use with the vanilla compass or without. Lot's of designs to choose from and can fairly easily add your own designs if you wish. 

Note, it's not currently working on AE, I'm looking for a fix though.
Works on AE as of version 1.2

Features
- Position the compass anywhere on your screen. 
- Change compass base and needle appearance, scale, transparency and brightness independently. 
- Hotkey to show or hide the compass widget. 
- Can link an item that when equipped shows the widget, when unequiped hides the widget. I designed this mod to compliment my Craftable Compass mod.
- Can fairly easily add your own designs - more info below. 
- Set the needle or compass base to rotate.

Appearance
To position / change appearance of the compass, you can do so directly in the MCM, or enter position mode in the MCM and use the hotkeys. 

While in position mode, hit the up, down, left, right keys to move the compass on screen. Hold the Increment Modifier key to make it move faster. 

To change the appearance, hold the scale, transparency or brightness or change compass keys and press / hold the up or down keys. To change which parts are affected, hit the Choose Compass Part Key and check which ones you want to change.

Adding Designs.
If you want to add your own designs, you just need to put texture .dds files in the Data\interface\exported\widgets\SimpleCompassHud\Bases or Needles or Overlays folders. Any .dds textures in those folder will be available to use in game so they can have different names than the ones already there to add options. Note that the files must be the same dimensions. All of the ones added by this mod are 400 X 400, so I would just use that scale for any textures you add. You can use GIMP to export as .dds, I used DTX5 compression. Also make sure they are centered, you can open the .dds files from this mod to get a reference.

Things to do.
I plan on adding some equipable compasses to this mod, similar to my craftable compass mod. You'll be able to set custom widget appearances for each equipable compass. So you equip one compass, a certain widget shows. Equip another compass, a different widget shows.

Translations
A note to translators. To translate the mod you can edit the SCH_Strings.txt file found in Data/Interface/SimpleCompassHud. Edit the text between the brackets []
