Description
This mod adds ancient nordic walls surrounding Winterhold, and includes a ruined section that lines the cliff. It is intended as a vanilla plus version of Winterhold, and nothing is deleted from the original worldspace. I have added a makeshift roof and guard house to the wall at the top of the entrance and fully navmeshed the whole area plus ruins section. The doors are open and static to maximize compatibility and to interfere as little as possible with the civil war battle.
I made this mod because I loved the lore related to Winterhold, but felt that many of the current mods were far too intrusive and not-lore friendly. This is a pretty vanilla addition, but I like it and hope you do too.
Compatibility
Since this edits the worldspace, it is probably not compatible with anything else that edits the Winterhold Exterior. Will it crash your game if you load it up with something like COTN? Probably not, but there will most likely be a bunch of items going through walls. That said, feel free to make any patches you want for this.
Just tested COTN and JK Skyrim - they are compatible except for some minor clipping in a few spots.
