Changelogs
Per the open permissions of the original, this is a full CAO optimized port of the original mod, Spell Rune Retexture by Piestub.

This replaces the original textures of the Frost, Fire, and Shock runes, as well as the Ash, Poison, and Frenzy runes added by the Dragonborn DLC.

I do not hold any ownership to these textures or the models included - they are created by Piestub (linked above); ported, and reuploaded for SSE per the permissions of the original mod. The images included on this page are *also* coming from the original mod.

FULL DISCLOSURE: This mod is opted into receiving donation points. This CAN change if at any point Piestub returns and requests me to opt out, in which case all donation points will either be given to Piestub or donated to charity.

No esp - Just textures. Full compatibility with AE.

Full credits and thanks go to Piestub, for the wonderful original mod.

Photoshop was used to fix the resolution, and Nvidia Texture Tools was used for BC7, mipmapping, and upscaling for the 2k and 4k versions.
The fixed 1k option was used as a base for the 2k and 4k upscales, which were done in cupscale, with compression and mipmapping being done in NVIDIA texture tools.

User VishVadeva50 helped me clear up, and provided the fixed base 1k option.

Do you use Odin or Arcane accessories? Check out a consistency patch made for them!

Changelog:
May 2022:
  • Updated the port. Base option has now been fully mipmapped, upscaled to the correct resolution, and saved in BC7 thanks to a commenter.
  • 4k resolution also available! With the same fixes noted above applied.
  • 2k upscaled resolution available! This should be the final release - barring any major issues that will need to be fixed

April 2023:
  • No actual file changes here, title has been clarified on what this is, and permissions tab has been made clearer
  • 1.3 of all 3 versions have been uploaded. These were redone with a better compression algorithm. I can't guarantee the improvements will be clearly visible, but it should look better.
