Changelogs
Version 3.0
Updated the Malgus Dreth Follower mod in the Creation Kit to Skyrim SE/AE version 1.6.640, hopefully fixing an issue some people were having where the game would crash whenever they tried to enter New Gnisis Cornerclub in Windhelm.
For personal reasons long in the works, changed Malgus' name from Morag to Malgus.
Version 2.0
Generated a FaceGen file added to the .rar file. I'm not an expert modder, but that should fix the blackface bug some people have reported.
Version 1.0
Added Morag Dreth to the game.
Recently, the Bethesda Launcher has been discontinued, I always found the launcher to be kind of awkward. I downloaded the laucher only to get access to the Creation Kit, but I never used it extensively. However, because the Bethesda Launcher has been discontinued, content on the laucher such as the Creation Kit has been moved over to Steam. I have been fiddling with the Creation Kit quite alot recently and decided to make a mod. I made a follower based on my in-game character Malgus Dreth who is a Dunmer nightblade.
You can find Malgus in the New Gnisis Cornerclub in Windhelm where he is avaliable as a follower from the get-go, as I haven't created a quest yet because I'm still quite new to the Creation Kit. There is also no unique dialogue as I'm not a good voice actor and don't even have a proper microphone for recording. However, this mod is mostly intended for my friends who want to play with my character in their own game. But if you want a simple yet effective follower, here you go.
Malgus is a nightblade and utalizes destruction spells, specializing in fire, as well as alteration spells. He is also efficient with one-handed weapons, especially swords. If you give him a two-handed weapon, he will not be as effective in combat. He also specializes in light-armor, so if you want Morag to be effectively armored, give him tempered and enchanted light armor. He is also quite stealthy and is able to sneak with you in bandit camps and ruins with little problem, thought he is not a master of stealth.
The first version of Malgus I created for personal use had all stats to 100, but I found that to be a over-powered. effective and kinda fun sometimes, but ultimately too over-powered. So for this version I decided to scale his skills down a little. Besides, some skills such as enchanting, smithing, alchemy, pickpocket, etc. are redundant for a follower. Because I scaled his skills down a little, I decided to add scaling based on the player's level. He levels with the player up to level 252. At level 252, you will have unlocked every perk for every skill so I consider that the max level for Skyrim.
All in all, I hope you enjoy this mod and have fun with Malgus on your adventures. If you encounter some sort of problem, let me know.
