I was looking for the choker mod like forever so I finally decided to make my own. I really love how the chokers look and wanted my character to wear one, but even if I was able to find some mods they always were the "additional" thing, never truly implemented into the gameplay since I would rather be wearing something with buffs. That's why I made this simple replacer to change all the useful vanilla amulets into something more attractive!
Amulet's that were made into chokers:
Vanilla
- Akatosh
- Ancient Nord
- Arkay
- Broken
- Dibella
- Elder Council
- Julianos
- Kynareth
- Mara
- Necromancer
- Stendarr
- Talisman of Treachery
- Talos
- Zenistar
- All Gold
- All Silver
Dawnguard:
- All Vampire
- Hawk
Dragonborn:
- Skaal
- East Empire Company
Installation:
Simply plug and play - use your favourite mod manager or paste the files in the game directory.
Load AFTER everything.
For Bodyslide users - you can find all the amulets in the Bodyslide under "Choker (amulet name)".
FAQ:
My amulets reverted to vanilla meshes:
- Use Bodyslide to build the choker versions for them again.
Amulets aren't a perfect fit:
- They can't be, otherwise they would clip inside the neck constantly. This is a compromise sadly.
Amulet clips when sneaking:
Unavoidable. But clipping is reduced to minimum.
It clips through my neck:
- Most bodies have exactly the same neck unchanged by the bodyslide presets. Im'm unable to make the mod adjust itself to those rare cases of thick necks.
Compatibility:
Should be compatible with almost anything including retextures of vanilla amulets.
NOT compatible with anything that changes the models of the amulets obviously.
Standalone:
If you are Looking for the standalone version of this you can try GomaPeroPero's "Vanilla Chokers & Earrings" HERE
It doesn't cover some of the amulets though.
