I've been using this mod for a while to great effect !! (simply accessing "Inventory" with a keystroke has been a convenience I'm hard to part with) I have noticed however some Follower Mods (not follower frameworks) like "Khajiit Will Follow" have screaming warnings about incompatibility or EFF breaking their AI and whatnot.
So my question is: has there been a mod that adds an exclusion list to this one ? I'd rather not uninstall EFF so a mod (or method tbh I'm willing to mess with xEdit if instructed) to exclude the KWF followers from EFF would be amazing !! (KWF followers have their own follower system so it should be fine even without EFF)
Coming in a little late here, but just in case someone else pops in with the same question at some point:
For most of these frameworks, there doesn't need to be any exceptions made, so you can use them together without issue most of the time. Custom and non-default follower characters need to be "added" to the framework for the framework to recognize them and apply the settings. It's usually the last dialogue option or prompts in the MCM where there will be an option to add them to the framework which in turn imports the follower into the system.
That is what will break followers like the ones from KWF or other companions with custom frameworks. You can use EFF to manage all of your vanilla followers alongside modded followers with custom frameworks.
I have been using EFF - Extensible Follower Framework for 10 years from LE to now and I am still using it well without any problems. However, the only sorrow is that the limit of followers that can be recruited is 100. if someone could make an EFF patch for more than 300 people.
Does anyone know where can I change the follower status bars colors in their widget? I'm trying to make a reskin and I'm missing this crucial detail. Thanks!
Pro tip... You can edit ONE comment to add additional information, questions, comments and concerns. Rather than spamming the comment section. Editing a preexisting comment will bump it up to the top so it will not go unnoticed and keeps the POSTS section cleaner for everyone.
I have a modded follower stuck on waiting and when I tell her to follow. She doesn't move. I used the clear system and fix actor from MCM but it doesn't work. It was able to clear my other followers but not the one stuck on waiting.
i have issue with flower girls- cant progress seduction with npc in that framework. npc for which eff doesnt launch works well. any ideas why its happening? or how to workaround this?
edit: obsolete- unistalled eff and went with nff. works like charm now
How do I enable the menu for follower commands? I have EFF visible in the MCM but I don't know how to literally access the menu to customize my follower.
I'm new to this mod, I tried console command in the description, and it just tells me stage not found... I tried to have a follower, and I can't find nor the menu, nor the dialogue options
this may have already been reported/asked, but it wasnt on the first 5 pages, nor the last 2.
i have no issue with this mod at all;except that on infrequent occasion a force recruited NPC-turned-follower (namely formerly aggressive ones) will lose the ability to interact with them, and hovering over them does not bring up their name.
is there a fix for this? or just go back to an old save?
