The Problem:

In the vanilla game, when you sleep in a bed, you receive a buff that increases the speed in which skills level. This can be useful for those who are trying to get the most out of their game-time, or simply want to level skills faster (I'm looking at you, Heavy Armor). The buff lasts for 8 hours, giving you ample time to go out and level your skills with increased efficiency. The problem is, Bethesda made the actual timer hidden, so you can't actually tell how long you have left on the buff. Sure, 8 hours is a long time, but if you have to Wait or Fast Travel, the remaining time decreases faster (from testing, waiting 1 hour reduces timed Active Effects by 3 minutes).

The Solution:

This is a simple Creation Kit edit that changes the TaperDuration to 28800, as well as disabling the No Duration tag. In short, this adds in a timer that coincides with the buffs obtained when sleeping. Mind you, the spell works similarly to a cloak spell, so if you fast travel further than what it would take for the spell to wear off, it will. I don't know why the buff acts like this, I couldn't figure it out.

Conclusion:

For now, I'm satisfied with the way the mod is implemented in its current state. If anyone has any knowledge on how buffs work, specifically how the Blessings from shrines work, do let me know because I would much prefer the buff acting like a Blessing than a Cloak spell. This mod is provided as is and I probably won't be adding any additional changes that fall outside of my original vision, such as changing the buff itself for additional bonuses (mods like that already exist, no need to dogpile).

Compatibility:

There is a separate file for iNeed as the original version does not support changes made by iNeed. Use that one instead if you are using iNeed. Other than that, it should be compatible with everything.
