Why Choose This Mod?
Unlike mixing mods to cobble together a "sort-of-were-dragon," this standalone transformation doesn’t mess with werewolf mechanics. Instead, you’ll roar like a dragon, scare guards into shouting "I’ll kill you, dragon!", and can use all your favorite shouts and lesser powers in dragon form. Loot corpses, chests, and guzzle potions without reverting to your puny mortal self—because dragons deserve convenience too. Whether you're burning down villages or taking a scenic flight with Flying Mod Beta, the transformation scales with unused dragon souls and integrates seamlessly with shout overhauls like More Draconic Dragon Aspect. (Wings included!).
Sound awesome? That’s because it is. And yes, I’ve tried to smooth over as many quirks as possible. Still, flying can be as buggy as a draugr’s crypt—use at your own risk!

The Quest
Once you hit level 10, take a nap and experience a vision where you’ll face a powerful weredragon. Defeat it to unlock the shout and begin your transformation. Not a Dragonborn? No problem! This mod works seamlessly with Skyrim Unbound for non-Dragonborn playthroughs.
How the Transformation Works
- Use the first or second word of the shout to access the perk tree or choose your dragon class.
- Use the third word to transform into a dragon, complete with unique benefits and drawbacks based on your chosen class.
- Revert back to human form using the lesser power or the third word of the shout again.
- While in dragon form, you can loot, use shouts, and lesser powers—but equipping items or spells is disabled.
Perks: Power Up with Dragon Souls
The custom perk tree uses dragon souls as currency, rewarding you for hoarding those precious souls. With up to 21 perks to unlock, your dragon form becomes stronger the more souls you have. Here’s a sneak peek:
- Feral Strength (1-5): Deal 1-5% more damage per dragon soul. (Base damage: 20)
- Hardened Scales (1-5): Gain 1-14 armor points per dragon soul. Reach the armor cap with around 49 souls.
- Dragon Vigor (1-2): Boost health and stamina by 100, and scale regeneration by 5% per dragon soul.
- Voice Within (1-3): Reduce shout cooldown by up to 60% in dragon form.
- Dovah Tongue (1-2): Enhance breath weapon damage by 1-5% per dragon soul.
- Sharp Claws: Boost critical chance by 0.25% and critical damage by 2% per dragon soul.
- Sillesejoor Feast: Devour mortal souls to restore health.
Dragon Classes: Choose Your Scales
Each dragon class comes with unique abilities, resistances, and breath weapons. Choose your playstyle:
Red Dragon: Fire-breathing, explosive power attacks, and fire resistance.
Silver Dragon: Frost-breathing, spell-absorbing scales, and bonus damage to undead.
Black Dragon: Acid-breathing, poison immunity, and swamp-dwelling domination.
Blue Dragon: Shock-breathing, chain lightning attacks, and shock resistance.
Bronze Dragon: Reflect melee damage, fire-breathing, and durable scales.
Green Dragon: Acid-breathing, nature-inspired poison claws, and spell absorption.
Time Dragon: Manipulate time, frost-breathing, and enhanced Slow Time shout effects.
(Blue Eyes) White Dragon: Frost and shock resistance, with powerful melee damage.
Sovereign Dragon: Wingless golden scales, balanced resistances, and fiery attacks.
Rift Dragon: Oblivion-walking plasma breathers with unresistable magic waves.
Compatibility
This has been cleaned with TESVEdit and doesn’t touch any vanilla records, the file has been eslfied, making it compatible with almost everything. The only minor conflict could be with mods heavily altering the Slow Time shout, which may affect the Time Dragon’s abilities.
