With the constant ash plume from Red Mountain, much of Solstheim's cities, ruins and clutter should be covered in ash. Now they are. Remake/expansion of Ashbound -- Solstheim Enhanced.

WHAT THIS MOD DOES
Adds ash to a ton of buildings and objects in Solstheim. Special attention was paid to inhabited areas -- there will be a mix of heavily covered, lightly covered and uncovered clutter to simulate items sitting outside for different lengths of time.

REQUIREMENTS
Base Object Swapper + its requirements
USSEP *
* I am aware that USSEP has become something of a lightning rod lately, but it is required for some of the Location Data this mod relies on. Once things settle down and if there is enough demand, I will consider a version that does NOT require USSEP but will require a few tiny worldspace edits to forward Location Data.
COMPATIBILITY
Load order doesn't matter for the main mod. Patches should load after Ashbound and whatever mod is being patched (LOOT should do this automatically).
Ashbound offers NATIVE SUPPORT (no patch needed) for:
- Vanilla ash shaders
- Shaders of Solstheim
- Texture and mesh replacers
The following mods are FULLY COMPATIBLE with the provided consistency patches:
- Better Tel Mithryn
- Quaint Raven Rock
- Skaal Fishing Camp
- Simple Raven Rock Expansion
- Solstheim Lighthouse
The following mods are currently INCOMPATIBLE:
- Better Dynamic Ash (support coming soon!)
- Unpatched town overhauls won't break but may show inconsistent coverage.

You missed a LOT of somethings ...
This mod relies heavily on Location data, in some cases provided by USSEP. Please make sure location data (in particular around Raven Rock) is not being overwritten.
Can the main mod be flagged as .esl?
No.
Is it safe to update?
I do not support updating from the old mod (Ashbound -- Solstheim Enhanced) mid-game, as you'd be ripping out a bunch of worldspace edits. Do so at your own risk. Future versions of THIS mod should be fine to update though older swap data may be baked into your saves. You have been warned!

KNOWN ISSUES/LIMITATIONS
- Some of the lootable urns were replaced with static versions (containers can't have ash applied to them). I gave them varying amounts of coverage so the ones I left lootable should still blend in well.
- The mushroom trees can't be ashified. -quiet sobbing-
CREDITS
AndrealphusVIII for reminding me there was a lot I didn't cover in the original Ashbound. While I did not directly incorporate their mod to ashify Imperial forts etc., I definitely referenced it for places I should check out!
