Daedric Names is a NND-based mod that give appropriate names to unnamed Atronachs, Dremora, Dark Seducers and Golden Saints.
According to the lore:
Daedra are creatures and sentient beings that can be found across the vast expanses of Oblivion.
Similarly to my other NND mods, Daedric Names tries to be as close to the lore as possible and avoid name generators, but due to the lack of existing lore names relies on semi-generated names for Atronachs.
Atronachs
Elemental Daedra, commonly known as Atronachs, are highly intelligent daedra often summoned by conjurers.
- Nomeg - Frost
- Magdra - Flame
- Zynel - Storm
- Mynar - Iron
Rarely, Atronachs adopt unique non-Daedric names, like Blaze or Brimstone.
So that's exactly how Daedric Names creates names for Atronachs. The lore has much more Daedric names than exact Atronach names, so by utilizing those names with prefixes, we can get plenty of Atronach names that are based on the lore. There is also a small chance that you encounter an Atronach with unique name.

Dremora
Dremora (also known as "The Kyn") are a warlike Daedric race. They consider themselves to be above other Daedra.
Dark Seducers and Golden Saints
Dark Seducers, also known as the Mazken, are scantily-clad, humanoid Daedra that use dark serpentine-themed armor and weapons.
Golden Saints, also called the Aureal, are a haughty, golden-skinned race of Daedra in service to Sheogorath.
Compatibility
Daedric Names is simply config files for NPCs Names Distributor so it inherits all compatibility properties of that mod.
It has built-in support for Daedra from:
- Glamoril - The Maze of Labyrinthian
- The Wheels of Lull - Unwound Edition
- Sun and Stone Atronachs: Both Atronach types will have element-neutral names without prefixes.
- Shadow Spell Package: Shadow Atronachs will have element-neutral names without prefix.
- Elemental Destruction Magic:
- Wind Atronachs are given Storm element names (Zynel).
- Water, Earth and Posion Atronachs will have element-neutral names without prefixes. These Atronachs are considered "exotic" and will display their title (e.g. species name: "Water Atronach")
- Daedric Entity Restoration Project - D.E.R.P.:
- Earth and Flesh Atronachs will have element-neutral names without prefixes. These Atronachs are considered "exotic" and will display their title (e.g. species name: "Flesh Atronach")
- Dark Seducers and Golden Saints from this mod will be detected.
- Shrike, Xivilai, Auroran, Herne and Winged Twilight will draw names from general Daedra Names Definition as they are all sentinel Daedra.
- Daedroth, Clannfear, Hunger, Scamp will draw names from bestial Daedra Names Definition.
- Watcher will use bestial Daedra Names mixed with appropriate titles found in the lore.
- Ogrim will use one of the known Ogrim names.
- Spider Daedra will use one of the known Spider Daedra names as well as occasional general Daedra names.
- VIGILANT SE:
- Daedroth and Scamp will draw names from bestial Daedra Names Definition.
- Ogrim will use one of the known Ogrim names.
All other atronachs, dremoras, saints and seducers that use their respective vanilla races are supported. If you see one of those without a name, please check compatibility section of NPCs Names Distributor for instructions how you could make them get a name.
