A B O U T T H E M O D
This mod is a standalone version of my mod Anima Nera - SerketHetyt's Serana Overhaul, for those that asked about it in the first release. And it is in gratitude for the support and positive feedback that I made this update at first for Serana with a few details the community has requested over the years, so we can celebrate together the 1k+ endorsements for Anima Nera Serana (that may be little to you, but it means a lot to me).

You are free to dislike this mod. Really, you’re entirely free to prefer one author over another. But you’re also free to simply close this mod and move on — I can't care less. She is exactly the way I want her to be.
A B O U T T H E v4 U P D A T E
I completely redid her sculpt, just as I did with Elisif and Freydis. The sculpt in the older versions has been the same since the low-poly in LE (actually cursed), which means there were some issues that were no longer possible to fix without a remake. The new sculpt is clean and free of such issues with expressions or clippings, as well as being more polished and in line with my current character design. In practice, it's a true upgrade, not just an improvement of the original assets as before.
But the assets were also improved. Anima Nera has new eyebrows, new eyes, new makeup, and new body textures. I removed the chest scar (face scar is still present and will never leave!) and gave her new body textures that better suit vampire skin, with bluer extremities, prominent veins on the body, and also new meshes (the long-awaited update to 3BA — using my bodyslide The Common Lass and Hands Redone with appropriate claws). I worked on small details to make her more realistic, keeping my custom BnP skin.
Perhaps the biggest change here, however, is new hairstyle options. I removed the previous hairstyle, as it was not of my likings anymore, but to compensate it you now have 3 new options: A short hair version, a medium lenght (kind of same vibes of original one for those that like to play "Selene") and a long, straight, dark, luxurious one that is my particular favorite.
I didn't changed anything besides her looks, so she will still have the same plugin, combat, stats and everything else. I recolored her armor black this time, but her sword is still the same.

I will never release any of my presets or original sculpts, so please, don’t ask me about it in the comments or DM’s. Those faces are made to be this specific npc in this mod only, they are not your player character, and I don’t want them being ripped off to fit in another npc or anything except this specific character. I understand, and appreciate, that you like my work, but it is what it is. There is a lot of great preset authors out there for you to choose, so please, a bit of respect when people deny assets to you, this is what is expected from a normal human being. Thank you.

Prior to this version, Anima Nera had a default UNP body. Now its changed to 3BA, as it is what I use in my own game atm and what most people use as well (according to the requests in the last years on my modpages). As her resources are all customized, I am not willing to make another body versions for her, it would consume too much of my free time (something that I don't have much atm, to be honest) and I prefer to use this time to make other mods and projects, and not being trapped with the same character forever.
I can take in consideration some requests about the mods, tho, there is no guarantee I will make them. And if I told you something about fulfilling a request, please have patience, I'm just a human being and Nexus/modding is my hobby, not a priority in my life.

❌ You are not allowed to make modification of this character or its assets and share it, public or privately. This includes de-standalone versions, changes of bodyslide, skin and any other minor or big modification. You are not allowed to use any of the custom assets of this mod outside of this mod, in any way, publicly or privately.
❌ You are not allowed to include this mod in paid modlists.
❌ I don't give support for personal use modifications and I don't allow people to use my comments for it, I will not teach you how to remove my assets and change them for any others.
❌ YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO RIP OFF THE FACE OF THIS CHARACTER and use it in any other way, it includes Skypatcher, xEdit or any other tool that allow you to use this face or assets in other npcs, vanilla or modded, even if my mod is required.
❗❗❗ I respectfully ask you to not use my mods in pictures for nsfw mods, as it for me is disrespectful and makes me feel very uncomfortable. I also ask you to not send me nsfw images of them in the modpage, as the images will be moderated and removed.
