- I've added a version which modifies the weapon appearances using assets from authors that graciously have open permissions for use. Sword and dagger assets are from Belsky Swords and Dovah Nord Weapons by Billyro and Ghosu Weapon Pack by Ghosu. Bow assets are from Unique Bows Collection by Artisanix and Ghosu Weapon Pack. - Gray Pine Goods - Given that Solaf's brother Bolund is in the lumber business, Solaf has agreed to procure and provide wood materials previously only supplied by fletchers in Solitude and Whiterun (i.e. he will sell ash, yew, and ironwood branches for crafting)
This is an SSE port of Nernie's awesome Ranger Pack. All of Nernie's mods were a permanent fixture to my load order in LE for many years, and I have been using this in SSE for several months now. What's included from the main page description:
-New Ranger equipment, including three sets of gambeson-style armor, two tunics, various cowls and hoods, two new swords and two new daggers, five new bows and three new arrow types (various levels - weapons and ammo can be crafted and improved, and armor can be improved).
-Two purchasable cabins, one in the Pale (deed can be bought from Hadring at the Nightgate Inn), and the second at Clearspring Tarn (deed can be bought from Lynly at Villemyr Inn in Ivarstead). After you purchase the deed, click on it in your inventory to obtain the key.
-A Ranger Faction, in a building just outside of Falkreath. The faction is joinable by adding your name to the enrollment lists (activate the ledger near the big map), which gives you access to a small bed in the basement quarters (all chests and drawers and backpacks in the same room are safe for storage), as well as guild equipment.
-A small dungeon addition - the location of which is hinted at in a new book, The Spriggan's Knight, which can be found in the Ranger base, and in leveled lists.
-Vanilla stores The Drunken Huntsman and Solitude Fletcher updated to carry new gear (and minor cosmetic updates to their interiors as well).
-Various miscellaneous items with new models and textures, including two kinds of craftable soap, wooden rings, wood for bows, and craftable fletching for arrows (only this mod's arrows - vanilla arrows are unaltered).
This is an old video but will give you a general idea. It mentions the guild being in the inn basement, but it was moved to just outside of town. Starts at the 0:45 mark.
I did make a couple modifications. Added the spriggan texture that was missing from the hidden encounter. Thank you to Gamwich for allowing me to use one of his awesome spriggan textures. Decreased the gravity to 0.2 and increased speed of the three arrow types to 5400, similar to ABT tweaks to vanilla arrows. The juniper and floral soap initially fortified persuasion by 1 for 24 hours. I increased it to 15. Forwarded cleanup scripts from USSEP for Hadring and Lynly. I did not touch the navmesh at the two cabins, and as such your followers will not follow you in. These are geared more towards solo ranger types. If you use a mod that allows you to use NPC markers such as this, you will be able to use the bench in front of the fire at the cabin near the Nightgate Inn.
If you use a mod that modifies the appearance of Lynly or Hadring, they may not have the cabin deeds in their inventory. You will need to patch it, carry it over in XEdit or just use the console. The door to the ranger's guild is generally open during day hours when the guild master is in. If you're in a hurry and it is locked, use the console to unlock.
