Mod is broken, I tested some spells and they were cool but didn't like how they drain your HP so I uninstalled the mod but now every spell drains my HP
Does anyone know if it is possible to change the cost of spells via sseedit? If yes, can you please give me a short instruction, because I tried it myself but nothing worked
if someone could fix this mod I would love them forever, this seems so great in concept but from what people are saying it sounds like it has some pretty game-breaking issues
So what is the state of this mod? Is it broken or playable? I hear some people saying that is broken but would love to have a confirmed list of game breaking bugs before I judge it :)
Thanks :) I had it in my list sincs I discovered the mod years ago. Never had issues. I have not played mych unfortunately but still, I never had a game breaking bug because of Hemomancy. Thanks for encouraging me to keep the mod. Endorsed :)
In about 90% of cases where someone reports a game-breaking issue, it’s not actually caused by the mod they’re commenting on. However, I usually leave the comments up in case others encounter the same problem, so they can help troubleshoot together. This mod has two known bugs, which are listed in the bug tab. The rest of the issues are typically due to a corrupt installation (which happens often) or users not being familiar with how to mod their game.
All of my mods follow the same principles: they’re as lightweight as possible, have no dependencies on other mods or obscure community frameworks, and are thoroughly tested with the base game. This generally ensures compatibility with everything. I also pay close attention to user feedback during the first 1-3 months after release to fix any possible errors. That said, it's impossible to account for every conceivable mod list, so each user needs to take responsibility for managing their own game setup.
I just realized that you also made that ggorgeous Weredragon mod. It's such a great idea, it should get more attantion. Also Dark Envoy is a staple for me and I already downloaded Glamoril for my next playthrough (if that ever happens..., if modding ever stops...). You made some great stuff in the past :)
Hello, I need help please with this mods... I have 3 questions...
1- How do you know how many blood points you have accumulated for the Hemomancy Perk Tree? I'm currently level 10, I've been playing with the Hemomancy spells for about 3-4 levels, using Hemomancy spells on every fight, multiple times. I never see any message telling me i've acquired blood points.
2- I dont have an entry in the MCM for the Hemomancy is that normal? I've bought the Hemomancy Spell from Jouane and all his spells. I used the Hemomancy spell to go to the (Hemomancy) Perk Skill Tree, but it always says I dont have enough points....
3- Are the points only awarded for killing with the spells? Because I saw on the page it said on every "Hit". I am playing as a Vampire, I find the theme very fitting, but hum, I've been using with in tandem with Vampire drain... most of the time killing them with Drain instead of Hemomancy, but I've been using a combo of Hemomancy Blood Solid, Blood Dagger and Vampire Drain...
Hi, I know I'm a bit late, but I had the same issue and found the solution after looking around in xEdit.
So basically you do get the points by any attack with the spells you don't need to kill with them. You can check how many points you have by typing, help "bloodpoints", in the console. You will see, under global variables, two blood points with their value. One is for the vampires and the other is for this mod.
Hope this helps :) PS. Not sure about MCM as I don't have it either, but I don't remember seeing that the mod has one.
1- In the hemomancy spell, it is displayed in the description of the spell. 2- It is. 3- Hits with spells award you with some points, you need the order of a 100 points for each perk
You can look for the global variables as khashi says and cheat your way through if you don't feel like doing some farm. The whole thing is thought so you just simply get better by using the spells, you start low and become a threat with time.
Without a compatibility patch those perks most likely won't increase damage of this blood magic spells. This is a clasic semantic misunderstanding, "blood magic" means something to you but not to the program (skyrim in this case) so you have to link somehow perks that increase a certain damage to the actual spells, that is made with keywords, my keywords will most likely be different of those made in the mod you installed.
In any case this spell pack comes with its own perk tree so you don't need those perks at all.
I see, btw the mods I'm referring to is Requiem and its Magic Redone mod, Alteration handles syphon spells which made me think this one would work with it.

No vanilla records touched.
This has nothing to do with vampires.
Compatibility overloads!.
If you have troubles with Jouane in AE download this fix:

Actually, it should be a good idea to make the Vigilants to chase you for using blood magic...

Thinking of doing a new run with it if so.

I added Req_Absorb and MagicVampiredrain keywords to all Hemomancy skills. I'm testing it right now to see if it works.
