Version Rebalanced
Drastically reduced the damage to magicka and stamina, spells no longer ignore resistance (they still have explosions so there will still be damage from them but not as much) and reduced Alduin's health recovery.
Version Definitive
Overhauled the mod, reducing Alduin's damage output immensely and removing poison-type effects.
It should now be possible for most vanilla players to beat him, especially with help from the heroes who are also strengthened in this mod.
Version 2
Updated all three versions with major updates. Alduin's meteors now deal enormous damage and have negative effects attached to them, same with several other attacks. To offset how much more threatening this has made him, I have also upgraded the three heroes so that they can help a bit more. Be warned, these new versions are significantly more challenging, and if they prove too much so the old versions are still available and are less challenging.

Alduin is supposed to be the most powerful being you physically encounter in Skyrim. He's stronger than Miraak, far stronger than Arngeir, and unless the Ebony Warrior's secret identity is Akatosh or a Daedric Prince he should be stronger than him as well. In fact, legends suggest even Daedric Princes fear him. Yet in the vanilla game Alduin is weak, literally weaker than other dragons you can randomly encounter. This mod aims to fix that.
Other mods exist that boost Alduin's health and level, but this mod goes much further. With this mod, his fire breath, meteors, fire balls and physical attacks deal significantly more damage, his fire breath, fire balls and meteors ignore magic resistance and spell absorption, and he has an ability inspired by Hell's Ebony Warrior that inflicts damage back on attackers who hit him. Each of his shout attacks, including meteors, now have extra effects like slightly reducing health regeneration and armour. Each of these effects stacks, which can lead to enormously reduced defenses if left unchecked, and this can allow Alduin to deal enormous damage if he's allowed to set you up for it. With this, Alduin will genuinely be a threatening opponent even for high-level characters.
TL;DR: This Alduin hits harder, hitting him damages you as well, his attacks deal a minor reduction to armour and magic resistance, and his health and resistances are a good deal higher.
