About this mod

A humble replacement for the vanilla Blacksmith outfit. Overall styles and shades should remain similar but just as dirty and worn out .

What is this ?

A subtle replacement of the current blacksmith's dirty apron .
Poor guys have been wearing the same old rags forever. It is time for something new.

The goal is not to make flashy , fancy or skimpy outfit but to introduce a higher polygon version while still staying game / lore friendly . The overall styles and shades should remain identical to the vanilla , at the same time looks just as dirty and worn out .

Also added a pair of puffy gloves so your blacksmith can now work more comfortably .

The female blacksmith got a little make over . She is now wearing pants , blouse and aprons. Previously she was wearing a dress working near the burning furnace, that doesn't make much sense to me .The designs may be changed in the future .

An optional 4k and 8k edition will added in the future , sorry for the delays.

Load Order :
Make sure this loads after your body replacer like HIMBO or CBBE , so they do not overwrite the files from this mod .

Q . A  :

WTH , why is there Q&A for a simple mod ?

Because of drama surrounding outfits mods lately. I want these to be addressed before ppl bombed my pm.
Even if these question sound absurd to you, let it be known people actually ask them , repetitively I might add.

Does this fit { insert body mesh mods here } ?

We have tested this on
 HIMBO & VANILLA
for the males , they are working as intended .
As for the females , we have only tested
Vanilla and CBBE but there are too many variation there .
If you are using outrageous bodyshape on your blacksmith NPC , this will revert them to the more " typical " proportion .

Keep in mind the outfit only has a weight 1 and 0. Rigging an armor for multiple body mesh is a very time consuming process .
Thru some sneaky deception , I've concealed most of the " clipping " so theoretically it should be compatible with most bodies types .

Can I refit this for [insert body mods here]?

Yes , you may. You don't have to ask my permission but this is only limited to the mesh and tri files .  You may not distribute the modified textures . Please link or direct your refit , translation , patch mods back to this mod. Please show gratitude to modders who have spent their night choking on pixels . Especially to those that do not lock their stuff behind Patreon .

Any HDT - SMPT ?

Not atm. I may implement it eventually but this is not THAT  kind of costumes .

Can I find these armors in game ?

Yes, you can even wear them. But why would you ? These are for NPCs!

Is this lore friendly ?

I think it is. I hope it is. The truth is you can never tell. Each person has a different expectation.

Any futures plans for this ?

More colors , different textures  and a better weight paint workflow .

I found an error on the mod .

Please report them to me @ comment section or via pm.

The old one looks better , your new look sucks .

Cool , don't use it then.

Your mod is breaking my immersion , You must be held responsible for this ! Eternal Damnation should be your punishment !

I am sorry your Majesty , I promise to do better next time.

The colors don't match exactly with the Skyrim version ?

Due to the implement of ENB, reshade and different lightings mods, It is impossible for me to match them exactly according to your set up .

It is not dirty enough / worn out  !

Now that is subjective, if there are enough people complaining I will dip them into a cow dung and make them dirtier !

What about the performance hit ?

This is by no means a fancy armor. So unless you have got all 100 of your followers wearing this, I doubt you will notice anything. Again, why would you ?

Can you also make armor for [insert NPC / ARMOR TYPE / something ] here ?

I am always making something. It is a matter of to publish it on nexus or not.

Why does this need a ESP ? Just replace the mesh .

Coz I wanted get rid of the 1st person mesh. There's not many reason to use 1st person mesh because this is already running on high poly [ for Skyrim's standard ] with high res textures . As for VR support , not at the moment sorry.
