Khajiit Has Wears is a mod that attempts to give Khajiit caravan NPCs new clothing, exotic outfits more believable for the well-traveled merchant cats. It uses Skypatcher or SPID for ease and better compatibility with other mods that edit NPCs.

Hard Requirement:
Soft Requirements (use as many or few as you want):
- Gilded Doublet
- Lunar Guard Armor
- Lunar Battleaxe
- Moon Monk's Robes
- VickusDickus' Khajiiti Apex Armory
Update 4.1 - Skypatcher Version:
- Removed all references to other mods in the main plugin: this means the main file not longer requires any mods.
- Instead, it just creates outfit records that are duplicates of Vanilla, and, depending on which of the above mods you load, will change the outfit files.
- For example: if you don't want to use Gilded Doublet, you are no longer required to download it for this mod to function. You can just load up the other mods and the NPC will simply just use Vanilla clothes.
You can still find it in the Miscellaneous files. It requires ALL the Soft Requirement mods above, plus SPID.
Update 4.0:
- Removed the Lunar Guard.esp replacer: the Dark Lunar Guard Armor is now found in the Khajiit Has Wears main file. This should help some of the people who might have had Kharjo running around naked due to loading the replacer esp before the original plugin
- It should still be able to be crafted/tempered, but will need patches for mods that edit Smithing skills
- Made the Apex Khajiiti .esp replacer optional: I still recommend it for NPC record removals
- Apex and Lunar Guard Armors now are balanced around their original plugin values
- No longer need the patch for my Apex Tweaks mod (just load Apex_Khajiit_awg tweaks after Apex_Khajiiti)
- Added Skypatcher version (which I now highly recommend over SPID.) With it, I can finally remove their old steel weapons.
This update should work fine installed for the first time on ongoing save games.
It may work for save games where it was installed, but you don't have the armor in your inventory.
If updated midgame, it may break any Apex or Lunar Guard armor you have in your inventory.
How to Install:
1. Install Skypatcher
2. Install whichever of the the above mods you want, like normal.
2. Install the Khajiit Has Wears main file, load it below all of the requirements.
The outfits will change depending on what mods you choose to install. If you choose to not install one or more mods, the NPCs will simply wear a version of their vanilla outfit.
If you want them to recieve an outfit from another mod, see Article for how to remove them from distribution for better compatibility (it is easier now, no xEdit required)
Optional Files:
- Apex ESP Replacer (just removes NPC record edits)
- Lunar Guard Armor - No Glow (removes glow from the belts and helmets for ALL versions of Lunar Armor)
- Lunar Guard Armor - Vanilla Female Body Support (recommend using with the original patch)
- Lunar Guard Armor - No Glow for Vanilla Female Body Support
- HIMBO Sliders for Dark Lunar Guard Armor
- HIMBO Sliders for Dark Lunar Guard Armor - No Glow
Patches:
- HDT-SMP Fluffy Beast Race Tail Replacer - Khajiit Has Wears (with optional PJKJ support) by Thuldor3621
- Khajiit Has Patches by Blackread (includes a patch for Adamant)
- Unofficial Project ja-Kha'jay Patch Hub (Project ja-Kha'jay - Tamrielic Distribution patch) by JechtShotMK9
Incompatibilities:
Skypatcher Version:
I am currently not sure what, if anything, the Skypatcher version is incompatible with. Please let me know if you find any.
This mod works best on a new game, outfits may not show up if installed midgame (depending on whether or not the NPC has already spawned.)
(Legacy) SPID Version:
This mod (and presumably other SPID mods) is not compatible with mods that distribute outfits via script, in a way that effects the Khajiit.
Armor and Clothing Extension (ACE) is confirmed incompatible
Immersive Armors - incompatible as-is. You can use the SPID version, but you will still need to remove distribution to Khajiit NPCs.
If you use other SPID mods, you will need to make sure they don't cover Khajiit NPCs as well, or this mod won't work. You can do this by editing the DISTR file.
If you would like more NPCs to wear Moon Monk Robes or Lunar Guard armor/ prefer a more modular approach, check out RowanMaBoot's SPID mods! (Please note: you will likely need to edit the DISTR files to make our mods play nice together.)
Who is wearing what:
All their weapons come from Apex, except Ra’zhinda’s (Lunar Guard Battleaxe). No helmets are distributed via this mod.
