About this mod
Imbue your ammunition with magical enchantments!

- Changelogs
This mod makes it possible to enchant arrows and bolts at the Arcane Enchanter. Out of the box, it comes with Fire, Ice, and Lightning Arrow enchantments, which can be discovered from the Creation Club: Arcane Archer Pack.
MECHANICS
Just like vanilla enchantments, you learn ammo enchantments by finding enchanted arrows and destroying them at the Arcane Enchanter. The Creation Club: Arcane Archer Pack distributes its magical arrows to merchants.
Similar to weapon enchantments, the soul gem level does not affect the magnitude of the enchantment, but instead it affects the amount of arrows enchanted. When you select an enchantment, the magnitude slider appears, which you can choose to reduce if you want to create more arrows.
SETTINGS
The mod provides an INI file with the following settings:
fAmmoChargeMult (default=0.2)
The number of arrows you can craft is based on the cost of the enchantment, the size of the soul gem, your Enchanting perks, and the value of the magnitude slider in the UI. This value is an additional multiplier that affects how many arrows are enchanted.
fAmmoEffectCostMult (default=0.45)
Enchantments increase the gold cost of arrows, like they do for weapons and armor. This value is an additional multiplier that affects the gold cost increase.
DEVELOPER INFORMATION
Ammo Enchanting is designed to be flexible for you to mod the way you want. These are possible ideas of mods that you could implement:
- More variety of enchantments
- Distribution of enchantments without Creation Club
- Gating ammo enchanting behind a quest
- Disabling ammo disenchantment and learning enchantments from quests instead
- Restricting weapon enchantments to only work for melee or ranged weapons
- Restricting ammo enchantments to only work for arrows or bolts
