Backstory A bored and reminiscing Guildmaster revisits Riftweald Manor and gets attacked by some bandits he thought he had already taken care of. WTF?
Detailed and comprehensive description If you're Guildmaster, approach the front door (at least once), enter and abandon all hope. (*) If you're not Guildmaster, get lost :)
Notes The file is ESM because I think it's the best way to do it, but the FormIDs are already compacted and you may re-flag it at will to suit your taste (light master, light plugin, normal ESP.) ESP-FE patch for JK's Skyrim. The manor "behaves" like a player's home (ownership, well-rested bonus, no-reset, and so on), but it's not intended as the 2,000th player home -- you can live in there, though, if you really want to.
(*) Of course the modern Dragonborn expects posh and pharaonic interiors, sizeable museum, hi-tech gadgets, British butler, luscious odalisques and so on. Sadly, I'm an old-fashioned geezer who likes vanilla ambience and loathes pointless clutter -- I just removed the traps, blew away some mist, placed a couple of sweetrolls on the balcony and tweaked a few other small things.
