About this mod
It is I, AkuAku. My duty is to protect you. You may summon me by breaking open these crates, call me thrice and I shall grant special powers. (ESPFE)

This mod adds AkuAku from the Crash Bandicoot franchise. He is a floating wooden mask imbued with special powers, none of which he will use to help you in battle, as I made him a custom race that can't be interacted with to avoid him being subjected to certain mod-injected dialogue options. V 1.2+ REQUIRES PO3 Papyrus Extender for AkuAku's invisibility to work.
If you use both, there is a conflict with the specular UkaUka in Skyrim mod. The two mods carry the same script, so it's irrelevant which wins it.
This mod is the specular edition of my previous AkuAku in Skyrim mod, you can read all the details on the AkuAku mod page. The two can work together, but they are also completely standalone, so you can choose the evil mask for the evil playthrough if you want.
- NEW: A Spell Book (Obtain through AddItemMenu) that teaches you a Lesser Power to Enable/Disable him.
- Now with sound effects! (if I have packed the mod correctly).
Other than all things Aku now being Uka, the two mods are identical. Adding UkaUka was something I always intended to do, but never got around to before leaving Skyrim for a while. Now that I'm back, this is a way to pick the project back up. I want to eventually do something unique for UkaUka. Starting with giving physics effects to his side bones. The rest will come as I improve my Creation Kit skills.

- A working AkuAku. I placed him in the Sleeping Giant Inn, but that doesn't matter. He will find you himself and follow you around. He isn't interactable, can't be hit, won't count as follower and won't help you in battle. For the moment, this is by design. I will improve him futher once all base features have been implemented and work correctly.
- A playable version of his mask, and a cosmetic "special powers" version. Working Ground Objects are included, but their collision shapes can use an upgrade if possible.
- The recipes to craft and temper the mask into the "special powers" version (will be subjected to change). The Special Powers features a different model with glowing maps for the feathers and a powerful light emanating from the mask itself.
- A forcegreet on first meeting AkuAku, in which he will reharse the famous line from the games, and gift you the first mask.
- An SKVA Synth remade audio file that will allow me to actually have Aku Aku speak, without falling into any issue with the use of owned assets.
- A script or other type of enchantment for the "Special Powers" mask to turn it into something functional. Currently, I'm aiming for making it non-removable, last a handful of seconds before removing itself from your inventory, and working as a sort of temporary TGM or TIM command.
- The complete removal of all collisions from AkuAku, to allow you to move more freely in smaller interiors. As he never officially becomes your follower, he doesn't work with the Follower Collision removal by Felisky, despite having the "Ally" relationship rank.
While I figure this out, I suggest No Collision Between Actors SSE. - Maybe a way to disable and enable him at will, since you can't tell him to go away. Eventually, given I'm able to, he might receive some special defensive functionalities.

The playable Masks use Slot 55, also known as "Face Jewelry".- The esp is flagged as esl, so it won't take up a full plugin slot.
- You can add his ability for yourself via cheat mods such as phenderix's Skyrim Cheat Engine. It's called Aku Aku Invisibility.
- Removing his mask is impossible through regular means. He can swim in BBLS pools and not lose his mask.
- He shouldn't need facegen anymore, but if anything happens and you see an ugly floating face behind the mask, there's backup facegen files in the .bsa, extract them and overwrite any loose files.
- He's meant to be incompatible with sex scenes from SexLab and Ostim, since he can't lose his mask and won't ever have a visible body (nor a schlong since he's a custom race). He has a copy of the SexLabForbid keyboard to avoid him taking place in autonomous sex, and the race has the creature keyword, which to my knowledge makes him unelegible for Ostim scenes. For now.
