I wanted Auriel's Bow to feel like a bow worthy of a god. With 0.3 times attack speed, 55 base damage, double crit damage, triple enchantment damage, and a 35% chance to stagger, it now feels like a weapon worthy of immortal hands, without being overpowered; the dragonborn struggles to draw the arrow fully back, but is rewarded for their effort.

I chose an attack speed that made it feel like the bow was so heavy that a mortal would struggle to draw it, with or without the attack speed perk, then tried to balance the bow around that, to be a fitting reward for completing the Dawnguard questline. That said, balance depends on the situation. For sneaking, it obviously is by far the best bow in the game. For close range combat, it feels comparable to the other best bows. For longer range combat, where you spend more time aiming, it is an extremely strong weapon. 90 damage against undead is nothing to scoff at either.
The optional file has 110 damage instead of 55, in case you wanted an overpowered weapon.
