Version 1.0.0
Initial release
RMB SPIDified - New Legion removes vanilla armour edits, Leveled List edits, and NPC edits and goes about introducing New Legion outfits through a combination of SkyPatcher and SPID. By doing so it avoids the need for compatibility patches, and should work better with mods in general.
The installation package is also bundled with a few installation options, to tailor to your wants and needs. For example an option to use Base Swapper exists to replace Imperial ground loot with New Legion armours, for a more seamless experience.
RMB SPIDified - New Legion is also fully compatible with RMB SPIDified - Heavy Legion, filling some additional gaps in Imperial Armour distribution (such as Light variants of the Penitus set).
Why should you use this?
SPID can be mod agnostic. It avoids a need for specific patches - SPID is a fantastic resource that can be used to apply keywords and outfits after mods have done all of their magic, meaning SPID mods should consistently have the desired effect regardless of what other content you use!
So in this case if you have a number of mods editing Imperials, this patch will assure they are given New Legion armours with no patching needed!
For example, with this SPID patch you will be able to use all of the New Legion armours alongside the armours introduced in Heavy Legion and Authentic Legion for maximum diversity in Imperial armour distribution.
However please mind that SPID can't distribute & force NPCs to equip weapons without the use of scripts, so using a Bashed Patch or similar is recommended if you choose the "Weapons" option in the installer. Alternatively you can use the "No Weapons" option if you would prefer.
• Scriptless implementation • ESL Light Plugin (doesn't use a slot) to define the outfits • Includes a modified .esp from the original mod, with reduced vanilla edits for compatibility • Doesn't overwrite the vanilla Imperial items, in case you still want them around • Introduces (37) new outfits, used in outfit distribution • Optional Base Object Swapper support, replacing vanilla legion armours around the world with New Legion armours • Bandit distribution, albeit rarely (1% by default) - you can run into the Rusty and Old Oblivion-styled outfits, as well as some mixed outfits • Standalone versions of the various legion armours that were previously replacers for maximum compatibility • Out of the box support for mods, including Requiem • Generic Distribution is handled within rmb_2_nordwarua_legion_DISTR.ini • Named / Unique Distribution is handled within rmb_0_nordwarua_legion_named_DISTR.ini • Optional Imperial Solitude Guard specific distribution managed in rmb_1_nordwarua_legion_solitude_DISTR.ini
