Eorlund Gray-Mane spent decades honing his craft at one of the greatest forges in Skyrim, but all you have to do is click a button... unless you decide to seek out the knowledge of the smiths of Skyrim first.

From the most basic crafting to dragon and daedric, the smithing books of Requiem are now available to non-Requiem players too! Nine lore-friendly volumes can be found in various locations around Skyrim for your roleplaying interest:

- The Craftsman's Manual
- An Introduction to Scale Armors
- About Elven Craftsmanship
- The Art of Dwarven Blacksmithing
- An Almanac of Orcish Blacksmithing
- Harder than Steel - How To Work With Ebony
- An Introduction to Malachite
- Daedric Craftsmanship
- Compendium of Draconic Armor

Can you study the basics and follow the smiths of old? Will you learn from the intrigues of tapestrists and best the elves of Alinor? Can you avoid the perils of daedric smithing, or channel the draconic tongue to wear their bones and scales?

Will this mod force me to find the books in order to learn the smithing perks?

No. These books are provided for roleplay and, aside from being placed in the world, have no other impact.

Do I need Requiem to play this mod?

No. This is a standalone version of the books, and you do not need Requiem or any other mod.

If I have Requiem, should I install this mod?

No. These books are already included with Requiem, and this mod is not compatible.

Are you going to release all the books in Requiem?

No. If you want to experience all the lore in Requiem, play Requiem.

Are the recipes in the books still the same as the ones from Requiem?

Yes, though I'm open to suggestions on how to change them if they need it.

Can I use these books in my mod?

You can make patches which do not change the contents of the books (covers is fine). If you need to change the contents of the books in a patch, please ask. Please do not include these books directly in another mod.

Please can you make an ESL version?

On it.
