We've got some good pieces if you're looking to buy. More inside!
This is a modification for Immersive Armors that changes primarily the balance of the original, as well as removing elements from the mod I felt were unnescesary or invasive.
You might be wondering why exactly you should use my version of Immersive Armors, so below is a list of changes from the original.
Differences from original
- Footstep sounds removed from fur collars*
- Footstep sounds removed from all cuirasses
- Edits to Whiterun removed*
- Crafting bench for repainting shields removed*
- Edits to guard dialogue removed*
- MCM and scripts removed*
- Levelled list distribution removed*
- New unique ingredients removed*
- Proper keywords distributed for matching set bonusses*
- Balance changes to all armour and recipes*
- Each recipe has been carefully crafted
- Apotheus and Ritual of Boethiah armours require the recipe books
- Some armours require quests to be completed*
- Each CCOR recipe has been additionally refined (if you have the patch)
- Breakdown recipes removed (and reintergrated if you have the CCOR patch)*
- Akaviri Samurai armour moved to a more compatible (and noticable) location
- Name formatting changed so gear sorts better, commas are used which is the more grammatically correct way to list things
- The word 'helmet' has been replaced in some items, fx. into words like 'headdress'
- The word 'robe' has been corrected to 'robes'
*Change appears in Sekhmet's edition as well.
Another modder, Sekhmet13, has a mod that tweaks Immersive Armors in similar ways as mine, but takes some slightly different directions as well. I felt it was relevant to compare to their version as well.
Differences from Sekhmet's replacer
- All armours are avaliable!
- No broken FOMOD, so you can actually get the OWL patch
- Missing WACCF protective clothing keywords added
- Missing WACCF light armour fist keywords added
- Different balancing decisions
Other differences
- Patches and additional interesting addons
- As many plugins combined together as possible, e.g. fewer ESP(FE) files

Compatibility
The plugin has been built with backwards compatibility in mind, meaning most patches for Immersive Armors will still work.
In technical terms, the formIDs and editorIDs of all armours are the exact same as the original plugin.
That being said, don't use patches for WACCF, OWL, or CCOR, except for the ones hosted on this page. Old patches for Immersive Sounds Compedium won't be compatible. I recommend using the Synthesis patcher for ISC, which will dynamically add ISC sounds to all armours.
Also don't use this with Sekhmet's Immersive Armors update, mine and their mod are mutually exclusive as they accomplish similar things.
Guard Dialogue Overhaul can safely be loaded before this version of Immersive Armors, as the conflicting edits have been removed.
Detailed NPCs - Immersive Armors for NPCs (SPID) should be fully compatible.
Patches and Addons
Below you will find a list of every patch and addon currently avaliable on this page, as well as what they do.
All plugins are ESPFE, so they won't count towards the plugin limit.
Armor and Clothing Extension Patch
Requires Armor and Clothing Extension.
Gives Jarl Siddgeir's ACE outfit the Falkreath crown.
Changes Yngvar the Singer's ACE outfit to have Barbarian Hero boots and bracers.
Complete Crafting Overhaul Remastered Patch
Requires Complete Crafting Overhaul Remastered.
Adds CCOR conditions and materials to crafting recipes. Allows breaking down equipment.
Open World Loot Patch
Requires Open World Loot.
Adds IA armours into OWL levelled lists, allowing you to encounter them on enemies and in loot chests.
Leveled Lists Addon
Requires using a tool like WryeBash to patch your levelled lists.
Just a small addon that adds the Conan wheel amulet, Falkreath circlet, and Tribunal masks to the jewelry levelled lists. Tribunal masks are treated as circlets. This means they can show up in dungeons and the like where the vanilla jewelry can show up.
Also adds unarmoured Dragonhide, Ebony, and Dwarven robes to Radiant Raiment's inventory. They appear at the level at which the respective vanilla armor starts appearing as loot.
Legacy of the Dragonborn Addon
Requires Legacy of the Dragonborn, the Official Legacy of the Dragonborn patch, and the Asdasfa Tweaks and Fixes LOTD patch.
Replaces all instances of IA Daedric Lord armour with LOTD's Ancient Daedric Lord armour, and disables said IA armour and relevant IA crafting recipes. Changes Ulfric's armour back into his original clothes, since the LOTD IA patch switches the display to use IA Stormlord armour.
Spell Perk Item Distributor Addon
Requires Spell Perk Item Distributor.
Distributes Immersive Armors items to various NPCs. Some NPCs are given helmets separately added to their inventories, this should mean they'll wear the helmets only if they enter combat.
This addon is just an ini file, so no plugin is included or required.
If you dislike any of the distributed items, you can easily go into the ini file and add a semi-colon infront of the line distributing the gear. I've included explanations for what each line in the ini does.
There's also a few lines that already have semi-colons infront, these are outfits that were distributed in previous versions but for whatever reason I disabled.
Below is a list of all NPCs distributed to, and the corresponding items.
The Stormlord armour set to Galmar Stone-Fist, helmet included.
The Falkreath armour set crown to Jarl Siddgeir.
The Falkreath armour set to Helvard.
The Heroic Imperial armour set to the named Imperial Legates, excluding helmets.
The Heroic Imperial helmet to the inventory of the named Imperial Legates.
The Heroic Stormcloak armour set to the named Stormcloak officers, excluding helmets.
The Heroic Stormcloak helmet to the inventory of the named Stormcloak officers.
The Redguard Knight cuirass, and Steel boots and gauntlets, to Rayya.
Barbarian Hero bracers, and Companions Wolf boots and cuirass, to Skjor.
Barbarian Hero boots, bracers, circlet, and a Hide cuirass, to Eorlund Gray-Mane
Barbarian Hero boots and bracers, and a Scaled cuirass, to Yngvar the Singer.
The Barbarian Hero armour set to Belrand, except the circlet.
The Vvardenfell Glass armour set to Vorstag, excluding the helmet.
The Vvardenfell Glass helmet to the inventory of Vorstag.
Green Tribunal robes, including hood, and gold Tribunal mask, to Matriarch Drevlan from Ghosts of the Tribunal.
Red Tribunal robes, including hood, to Priest Drureth from Ghosts of the Tribunal.
Blue Tribunal robes, including hood, and ebony Tribunal mask, to a Ghosts of the Tribunal NPC.
Black Tribunal robes, including hood, and silver Tribunal mask, to a Ghosts of the Tribunal NPC.
White Tribunal robes, including hood, and silver Tribunal mask, to a Ghosts of the Tribunal NPC.
Red Tribunal robes, including hood, and ebony Tribunal mask, to a Ghosts of the Tribunal NPC.
A bronze Tribunal mask, alongside her default enchanted Chitin armour, to Vesparth the Toe from Ghosts of the Tribunal.
The Ringmail armour set to Anum-La the Swamp Knight from Interesting NPCs.
More Sensible Quartermasters Addon
Requires More Sensible Quartermasters.
Adds the Heroic Imperial, Heroic Stormcloak, Snowbear, Imperial Knight, and Stormlord armour sets to the merchant inventories of respective quartermasters in the military camps. Heroic and Snowbear will appear at level 6 and have an 80% chance to show up. Knight and Stormlord appear at level 18 and have a 70% chance to show up.
Might conflict with other mods modifying the containers that the inventories rely on, however I don't think any mods do that, other than More Sensible Quartermasters?
Old Files
Patch for the Creation Club mod Ghosts of the Tribunal. Requires it or Anniversary Edition. Soft requirement of Spell Perk Item Distributer to
have all outfits distributed.
Gives Tribunal Robes to several members of the cult of the old Tribunal. Gives a Tribunal mask to Vesparth.
