Description

After my 'A Journey Begins' and 'Skyrim Scenery' Main Menu Replacer mods, I realized that my collection included quite a few impressive pieces of art that weren't landscapes, but showed the Dragonborn locked in mortal combat. Some of these were available elsewhere, but not in a single location and rarely in high-quality textures. So here we are again: round three of my Main Menu Replacer sets.
This mod includes seventeen separate pieces of Skyrim artwork, ready to use as a main menu replacer or with a main menu randomizer.
1) TES Legends, Heroes of Skyrim
This art was the pre-release cover (and loading screen) for the 'Heroes of Skyrim' expansion pack to the TES Legends card game.
2) Daniel Kvasznicza, Dragon Shout
This was one of the earliest pieces of Skyrim key art, created by the same Montreal-based painter who created 'A Journey Begins' and 'Realm of the Dragonborn'. Note that there are several versions included in this mod; see below.
3) Mao (mrainbowwj), Skyrim
4) Hugh Ebdy, Alduin
5) Ragaru, Alduin - Bane of Kings
6) Greg Rutkowski, Dovahkiin
7) Herbrex, Dragon Adrift
8) Richard Falla (1rich1), The Best Defense
9) Richard Falla (1rich1), The First Fight
10) Kirkieball, Throat of the World
11) Ray Lederer, Troll Fight!
In addition, I've included several incredible works that showcase a dragon mid-combat rather than the Dragonborn.

Finally, I've also included two of the most famous pieces of Skyrim key-art, both by Daniel Dvasznicza, both showcasing the Dragonborn standing alone.

Installation & Instructions
============
Simply download whichever version corresponds to your monitor size: widescreen = 16x9, ultrawidescreen = 21x9.
Then extract and install with a mod manager - I used Mod Organizer 2. There is no .esp to enable.
This main menu replacer is compatible with both Skyrim SE and Skyrim AE (your version must be 1.5.x or 1.6.x).
In order to change the main menu image from the default 'Heroes of Skyrim' to another image, follow these instructions:
1) Open the '/variants' folder.
2) Pick whichever .dds image you like most.
3) Copy-paste that image to the same folder, then rename it 'mainmenuwallpaper.dds' (no quotes)
4) Move that image to the 'textures/interface/objects/' folder and (when prompted) overwrite the existing file there.
5) And you're done.
Please note that there are several subfolders in 'variants'. The 'dragons' folder includes the four dragon-only images listed above. The 'vanilla menu' folder includes images that really don't fit with a centered menu (like Main Menu Design Replacer) and are much better suited for a right-aligned menu (like ReCleaned Menu). This mainly includes several pieces of Skyrim key-art by Daniel Kvasznicza.

Randomizer Instructions
============
If you want to use the Randomizer version of this mod, you *must* have lanastara's Main Menu Randomizer SE installed, and you must have a 16x9 monitor.
Download the randomizer, extract and install with a mod manager.
The /mainmenuwallpapers/ folder contains all of the textures, identified by name. Each time you open Skyrim, the Randomizer will pick one of these folders, copy-paste it over your /Data/ folder, and replace the existing /data/textures/interface/objects/mainmenuwallpaper.dds file.
Feel free to add new images (using the same format), or duplicate existing textures so the Randomizer displays them slightly more often (the default 'Heroes of Skyrim' Legends art is duplicated by default), or remove textures that you prefer not to see.

Recommended Mods
============
The only requirement is to own Skyrim SE. This mod does not take up an esp or esl slot.
I highly recommend using this mod with Main Menu Design Replacer; the centralized menu fits most of these images perfectly. Alternately, you can try ReCleaned Menu for a more vanilla look, with the menu in the bottom-right corner.
