This mod allows the player to craft my interpretation of the Mimicry E.G.O. Weapon from Project Moon's Lobotomy Corporation in Skyrim. The weapon utilizes a highly detailed, but poly efficient model and 4k/2k texture mapping. The programs used in its creation are Blender 3D and Quixel Mixer. The ESP is ESL flagged and therefore shouldn't take a space in mod load orders.
(Quick note that this specific model may be a bit more poly intensive than my other weapons due to my current learning of sculpting and remeshing. Testing the weapon shows, however, that there is no noticeable drawback to performance when the weapon is in play.)
The screenshots provided are taken with the Enhancer ENB and a Custom ReShade that slightly amplifies saturation, tone and contrast so they will look different in different graphical setups. At the very least, the colors of the weapon will be less saturated or obvious compared to the screenshots.

Weapon Lore -
What Are E.G.O. Weapons? -
In Lobotomy Corporation, Extermination of Geometrical Organs (E.G.O.s) are pieces of equipment that primarily come in the form of either weapons, gifts, or suits. These E.G.O.s are extracted by from the Abnormalities housed in the facility and are often considered prototypes. Equipping an E.G.O. may enhance the certain parts of the wielder's characteristics and/or negatively affect other parts in return.
Nothing There - ALEPH Class Abnormality -
Every abnormality in Lobotomy Corporation has a ton of lore, so I'll do my best to summarize this specimen briefly. Nothing There is an amalgamation of human parts that embodies the idea of "pretending to be human." If Nothing There breaches the facility, it will consume and take the guise of the employee performing on it, wearing its skin and flesh. It will replicate its hosts actions, personality, and words very closely, however, due to the uncanny valley sense, one can eventually notice the facade that is Nothing There. Gameplay-wise, Nothing There is a very formidable abnormality that is extremely hard to kill without intensive ALEPH level E.G.O.s and planning. Usually, if one has Nothing There in containment, the best course of action is to ensure that it never does breach.
Mimicry - ALEPH Class E.G.O. Weapon Procured from Nothing There -
This greatsword reflects Nothing There's makeshift disguise of being a human as indicated by the malformed flesh stuck onto the metal like a parasite and its unclosing eyes that never seem to stop moving. To wield this E.G.O. one must push themselves to their very limits in order to properly utilize its power.
Weapon Stats -
For gameplay purposes and according to my interpretation of Mimicry's reputation and power, I have intended for Mimicry to be a very powerful greatsword that focuses heavily on armor-ignoring enhanced power attacks that consume all stamina. It's main drawback, however, lies in the increased damage the user takes, however, that is also offset by its innate lifesteal.
- Weapon Type - Greatsword
- Weight - 40 Units
- 63 Attack Damage
- 0.6000 Attack Speed
- 2.25 Attack Range
- Weapon Enchantment - Shell Consumption
- E.G.O. Perk - Yearning to Pretend
- Cannot Be Disenchanted
If one is unhappy with the weapon's special perk and enchantment, they can craft a replica at the Skyforge without the enchantment and perk. This version is also enchantable.
E.G.O. Perk - Yearning to Pretend
Unleashed Strength - "It can deliver a powerful downswing that should be impossible for simple humanoids."
While wielding Mimicry, the wielder is pushed to their limits while the E.G.O. itself also enhances one's physical attributes to even greater realms of strength. Upon a single power attack, Mimicry will hit all beings within its range. This power attack exhibits 500% more power than a normal power attack, but depletes a character's entire stamina bar. If those victim to the charged attack have any armor protection of sorts, the sword will ignore it and cleave through it. Upon making contact with an opponent, the attack will also knock them back a good distance and stagger nearby enemies (Modder's Note - I don't know if the knockback will crash people's games or cause issues, but if it does, I will replace it with just a simple stagger effect).
The Unfamiliar and Otherwordly - "The eyes stare from all directions. You will never be alone again."
The cost of pushing the wielder to the limit is that Mimicry will affect the user's vulnerability to damage making them take 150% more damage from all sources with the weapon equipped. Savage exploitation of Mimicry's lifesteal, however, should enable wielders to offset such a negative influence. Do take care in receiving massive heavy blows from potential dangers, however.
Enchantment - Shell Consumption
Like its progenitor, Mimicry also exhibits a behavior similar to Nothing There's consumption of host bodies. In other words, Mimicry will steal 40 points of health from opponents and give them to its wielder along with 20 points of stamina. There is a 10% chance that hits from Mimicry will also slow the opponent's movement speed due to its eldritch nature.
Way to Obtain and Recipe -
The ability to craft Mimicry and its replica can be crafted at the Skyforge when one acquires the Daedric Smithing Perk. If one is feeling otherwise, they can also just use console commands or the AddItemMenu mod to acquire it. To accommodate to its original lore, Mimicry will require several odd and unusual items to forge. Essentially, it will require the essence of flesh and humanity to incorporate itself into the plane of Mundus.
Recipe -
- 1 Black Soul Gem
- 1 Daedra Heart
- 1 Briar Heart
- 5 Ebony Ingots
- 3 Human Hearts
- 5 Human Flesh
All versions of Mimicry are temperable at the sharpening wheel with an ebony ingot. And as usual, the replica recipes are like the original recipes but with less components.
Personal Notes and Future Updates -
- This was originally a test of my organic sculpting skills and newly acquired animation skills, but I decided to port it into Skyrim since there weren't many cool "sentient" sword type weapons on the Nexus
- Rae'shalare - Sylvanas' Bow - is in the works. I didn't know bows were skinned and animated, so it may take longer than usual, but I'm getting there slowly but surely :D
