A mod to add in a cute dog called Mia, she can be found at Riverwood and tamed right away!

IF UPDATING TO 5.0 UNFOLLOW & TAKE EVERYTHING FROM 4.0 MIA!
You will need to take everything as 5.0 uses a new ESP file and Mia will be reset so take all the items from her, unfollow her and save and exit, then uninstall the older version or just update then load in, go to riverwood n she will be there. (you can give the items back)
An update!
This was created out my own spare time as I saw someone's reddit post (This Post Here ) asking for a mod to be created that adds their recently passed companion into the game.
Requirements and Compatibility:
Requirements:
- Must have at least All 3 DLCs
Compatibility:
- Anything that doesn't completely overwrite follower dialogue
- Anything that doesn't completely overwrite NavMesh, Objects or Landscapes in the 4,9 region near Riverwood
Releases:

Version 5.0
- Made it more lightweight, it was made poorly. Fixed everything but was forced to remove the quest and dungeon stuff.
- Fixed issue with mia's dog mesh overwriting other npc dogs
Version 4.0
- Fixed the issue with the Note that Mia gives you. It should now display correctly instead of it being a nil texture.
Version 3.0
- Had to shorten the text in 'A letter from Mia's dad' as it was cut off and exceeded character limit.
Version 2.0
- Added Teleport spell so you don't lose her
- Added a quest to get the spell - Added some dialogue to start the quest.
- Quest Includes Mia giving you a Claw from her past adventures in Tamriel, along with a Note.
- The note has a painting of Mia's Claw leading up to a puzzle door that then leads to a ball?
- This will eventually lead to a boss called Mia's Bane, who has stolen Mia's Ball.
- Mia's Bane will drop 3 items, the weapon, a Spelltome and a note (A letter from Mia's dad).
- The note includes a little message from the real life owner of Mia (note this is not me)
- The Spelltome will give you the teleport spell when read.
