About this mod
A quick .esp I made with the Creation Kit to correct the quest "Bloodlines" not beginning after speaking with Serana.

ONLY USE THIS MOD IF YOU ARE RUNNING INTO THE SAME ISSUE. Best to use on a save right before releasing Serana from her crypt.
So you've made it to Dimhollow Crypt, killed the vampires, figured out the magic puzzle, and now can speak to Serana. Except that, after you talk to her the "Awakening" quest concludes but the next quest being "Bloodlines" does not start. When you talk to Serana the only option she gives is "come with me", but selecting that does nothing. Even using the "SetStage <quest id>" commands yielded no results.
That is what this mod is meant to fix. I spent hours trying to find a way around this but there was nothing. Eventually I entered "SQV DLC1VQ02" into the console and saw that the quest was completely broken. Meaning that it was not listed as enabled and as such could not begin when its intended dependencies had been met.
So I went into the Creation Kit, found the quest using its id, and changed the setting to allow it to begin after speaking with Serana for the first time. I then saved the changes and packaged it as a .rar file containing a .esp, so that a program like Mod Organizer 2 (MO2) would be able to add it into the load order.
Hopefully this will help you get that quest started if you are suffering a similar issue.
Unfortunately, this does nothing about the possible bug where Serana may not enter Volkihar Castle like she is suppose to after the gate opens. That is a bug that has been around for a long time. I suggest using the command "prid 02002b74" to select Serana, followed by the "moveto player" command. Once she is inside with you things should work as normal. If not, select her again in the console and use the "resetai" command. This bug tends to happen if you've visited the castle before meeting Serana. This can include if you have used the "tmm 1" command to show all map markers.
