This mod adds 5 varieties of koi fish as pets. The koi are sustained by an enchanted water bubble that allows them to travel over land. Just craft a fish bubble at a forge using one filled greater soul gem and equip it to summon the koi.
The koi are animated and will fight for you, although they aren't that strong. (They were bred for beauty, not brawn.) They are essential.
Plugin is ESL. The items use slot 48. The fish are scripted to teleport to you if they fall too far behind.
