The Camlorn Greatsword is classic medieval-inspired longsword built with customizability in mind. It's the first mod in my "Configurable Armory" series, and as such offers an array of material and color options and combinations that allow you to tailor the sword to your own tastes, as well as a choice in the in-game properties of the weapon. All customization is done during installation, making the mod extremely lightweight with absolutely no scripts or requirements.

When installing the mod with the included FOMOD, you'll be met with the following choices:

1. Material Selection: A choice between 3 different materials for the metal parts of the sword & scabbard.
Steel: Classic, shining steel for the blade, guard and pommel.
Blackened Steel: Worn, blackened steel for the blade, guard and pommel.
Royal Steel: Golden gilded steel for the guard and pommel over a shining steel blade.

    2. Grip Selection: A choice between 5 different leather colors for the grip of the sword: Black, Brown, Blue, Green or Red

    3. Scabbard Selection: A choice between the same 5 leather colors, with the metal parts of the scabbard matching your sword

With these 3 choices being independent of each other, there are 75 possible material/color combinations for the Camlorn Greatsword, and it can be safely reinstalled to change materials/colors at any time.

The fourth and final step of installing the Camlorn Greatsword is choosing it's in-game properties. You'll be given the option to have the sword use the properties of Skyrim's original Steel Greatsword, Nordic Greatsword, or Ebony Greatsword, affecting it's damage, weight, and crafting & tempering requirements (but having no affect on the sword's visuals). Alternatively, you can choose to have all 3 versions of the sword available to craft in-game at the same time.

As with the other customization options, it's completely safe to reinstall and choose different in-game properties at any time, though this will only affect which version of the sword you can craft, not the properties of a sword you already have.

Once installed, the Camlorn Greatsword can be crafted at any forge once the corresponding smithing perks have been unlocked (Steel Smithing for Steel Greatsword properties, Advanced Armors for Nordic Greatsword properties, and Ebony Smithing for Ebony Greatsword properties).

Additionally, by player request I've added two optional add-ons:
- An add-on that removes the scabbard from the sword so that it hangs freely on your back
- An add-on that adds a one-handed longsword variant of the sword, with a FOMOD for choosing in-game properties (no affect on visuals, they will match what you choose for the main file)

New in version 1.1:
- A standalone Silver Camlorn Heritage variant of the sword with engraved ornamental detail has been added to the main mod file, using the properties of Skyrim's Silver Greatsword.
- Optional add-ons for adding one-handed versions of the available Camlorn swords are available within the main mod files

To install the mod, simply download to your mod manager and use the included FOMOD to customize the sword. This method is highly recommended and the sword was designed around the FOMOD being used! Any optional add-on files should be loaded after the main plugin, and will require the main plugin.

4k and 2k versions are available (the archive file size is large as it includes every possible version of the sword's textures, actual deployed file size is much smaller). All available ESP files are ESL flagged.

If you need to install the mod manually, please do the following:

Spoiler:
Show
1. Use only 1 of the available ESP (ESL flagged) files:
- "CA - Camlorn Greatsword - Steel.esp" for Steel Greatsword in-game properties.
- "CA - Camlorn Greatsword - Nordic.esp" for Nordic Greatsword in-game properties.
- "CA - Camlorn Greatsword - Ebony.esp" for Ebony Greatsword in-game properties.

- "CA - Camlorn Greatsword.esp" for all 3 in-game versions of the sword.
(Remember that none of these options affect the sword's visuals!)

2. Choose one set of textures for your sword:
- Take the file GS_1.dds from one of the labeled folders (ex. \Blackened_BlueLeather for a Blackened Steel sword with a blue grip) and place it in the folder "textures\Configurable Armory\GS_1".
- Take the GS_1_m.dds and GS_1_n.dds files from the corresponding material folder (ex. \Blackened if you chose a Blackened Steel sword color) and place them in the folder "textures\Configurable Armory\GS_1".

2. Choose one set of textures for your scabbard:
- Take the file GS_1_S.dds from one of the labeled folders (ex. \Blackened_BlueLeather for a Blackened Steel sword with a blue scabbard) and place it in the folder "textures\Configurable Armory\GS_1_S".
- Take the GS_1_S_m.dds and GS_1_S_n.dds files from the corresponding material folder (ex. \Blackened if you chose a Blackened Steel sword color) and place them in the folder "textures\Configurable Armory\GS_1_S".
