=Description=
Adds a few gem cutters in several of the cities. Compliments CCOR as an alternative way to cut rough gems without using a forge; Role-play purposes. There is a recipe if you want to create your own.
=Installing for 2.0 - can be installed mid-game UNLESS you already have 1.1=
- Make sure all the requirements are installed first. (CCOR and all of its relevant requirements, SkyUI for mcm, SKSE64 2.2.3 (game version 1.6.640))
- Use Whichever Mod manager of your choice - install.
- Place cs-gc-CCOR patch.esp below Complete Crafting Overhaul_remastered.esp in your load order. (Use a higher priority/number)
=Updating from 1.1 on an existing save (DO NOT DO IT, unless you start a new game)=
-To update from 1.1 to 2.0 will require a new game. I had to redo / add several scripts along with recompiling / recompacting mod to be compatible with the esl format.
If you want to chance a 'clean save - using Resaver tool',I do NOT recommend this but ultimately it's up to you. I take no responsibility if doing so renders your game unstable.
=Uninstalling=
Mod manager of your choice and untick or uninstall.
=How it works=
- Go to any store that has the cutter, activate it, place rough gems inside then close the container, Wait till it's finished; the container will auto-open. If it doesn't find any rough gems, it'll stay closed and you'll get a corner notification.
- By default, the store cutters will require a courtesy payment for usage: at its base it'll cost 25 gold per rough gem with variance added depending on player's speechcraft stat and the flawless percentage. (see Behind the tech for the actual formula)
- You can turn the pay option off in the MCM.
- To create your own portable cutter, you'll need to find the recipe (location in spoiler section). Once you read it, you'll be able to craft the object.
- Once created, it will be considered a tool in the misc section. Just drop or equip it (click on it), and the cutter will be placed in front of the player with a red square above it. That indicates it's in placement mode. You can use several hotkeys (configured in MCM) to place the cutter where you want. To confirm placement, activate the cutter; the red box will be gone and you're now out of placement mode. There's an option to turn off the hotkeys / placement mode in the MCM. If off, the cutter will appear directly under the player. It functions the same as the store versions.
- To pick it up, sneak then activate it. (can only pick up the one you create)
- As an option, you can go into the MCM and change the flawless gem percentage chance to go past CCOR's 30% hard limit. (see compatibility section)
=Behind the tech=
The formula is: (# any gems x ((25 + (Flawless Chance in whole number x 3)) - players speechcraft) x random # between 0.5 and 1.0) = total gold charge.
Breakdown example:
25 gold per gem is base (this number doesn't change)
player puts in 4 rough emeralds, 1 rough diamond = 5 gems
flawless percentage = 25%
players speechcraft = 34
--- Order of Operations ---
A.) flawless gem chance of 25 times 3 = 75
B.) 75 + 25 base = 100
C.) 100 - speech of 34 = 66 (note: if this number goes lower than 25, then 25 will be the base and lowest it is)
D.) 66 x 5 number of gems = 330
E.) Finally multiply 330 x random number between 0.5 and 1.0.. eg.. 0.7 = 231 gold needed.

=Compatibility & Issues=
-The mod will auto-detect if you have the following JK's interior mods (Don't look if you'd rather come across the locations yourself):
-I don't know if they put out an all-in-one yet. If so, this mod won't detect that version; only the separate mods.
-Activator may clip or be hidden if another mod other than those mentioned changes the interior.
-When using this MCM to change the flawless percentage chance, it won't visually update on CCOR's MCM, but the global does change. I could have updated the CCOR script but I wanted to keep it untouched. I suggest just using this mod to change the percentage and ignore CCOR's.
-Keep in mind, some gems do not have a flawless variety. That's inherent in CCOR, not this mod. I make no changes to any of CCOR's scripts or objects.
=Quick FAQ=
Q. What version of Skyrim does this work on and will you make one compatible for x?
A. Skyrim v 1.6.40 is what I had when creating this. I can't say if it will work on other versions; Try it and let me know. I won't be making other versions.
Q. Can you change the formula for the courtesy charge?
A. No. The option to turn it off is included in the mod.
Q. Why go past 30% for flawless gems, wouldn't that make it unbalanced?
A. Yes. I like to be OP so I made it an option.
Q. Why do I have to start a new game if updating?
A. Good practice to not remove mods / scripted or otherwise from an ongoing save, with esl. From this source, specifically this line:
I had to recompact the file after I made the necessary edits.
