Today, I was playing Skyrim and noticed that my greatsword had a bizarre, clearly-unintended look to it. After looking into the weapon's NIF model files, I discovered what seemed to be a typo in the texture paths, causing the normal map to accidentally be applied twice. This fixes it. Users soon reported other weapons with the same problem, so here we are.
I have no idea if this is an issue that only I am experiencing or not. If deletepch or registrant want me to take this down, I'm happy to do so. This is just a tweak that took me 20 seconds to do and I thought I might save someone else those 20 seconds out of their life.
