About this mod

Changes how Northern Roads affects the bridge exiting Ivarstead to have less landscape bumpiness.

Northern Roads is a phenomenal mod, probably my favorite environmental mod to release for Skyrim.

The way it edits the bridge exiting Ivarstead always bugged me a little bit though - I didn't like how I could obviously tell where the landscape stopped and where the bridge mesh began. It was a little bumpy, a little funky, and so I learned how to use Creation Kit in order to fix it.

If you feel the same way, here's a fix for you!

Some Notes:

  • I really only tested this on my load order, but it should work well with just NR, or with the NR and Lux Via combo found in Alaxouche's patch collection. I personally run with the combo and have edited a couple seams in the world I've come across.
  • This (obviously) requires Northern Roads to work, since it depends upon assets that I do not redistribute in this mod.
  • This should go low in your load order, so as to not be overwritten by Northern Roads or its patches. I have mine close to last, just before things like DynDOLOD and Flat World Map Framework.
  • I won't be able to create a patch for every situation. I held out on downloading Creation Kit for a LONG time, but am thrilled I finally did. It was very easy to install it, and the community fixes, and now its as easy to fix a landscape error as it is to hop into SEEdit and fix a conflict. Took all of an hour from downloading to this. So if you encounter an issue, try learning something fun and new!
