Does "Sunder" from Creation 'Sunder & Wraithguard' look like an AXE to you? No? How unfortunate...
So why should it be considered as an AXE by the game?
Wouldn't it be better off as a "mace" instead?
Wouldn't you like it more if it didn't clip as hell into your body when sheated?

Worry not, for I got your back!
This simple mod upgrades the Sunder model found on Creation 'Sunder & Wraithguard' from "WeaponAxe" to a more fitting "WeaponMace" class, so that the game (correctly) classifies it as a mace. The result is that Sunder will use 'mace' animations, sounds, and positioning when sheated.
As a bonus, base textures have been slightly improved to make it (I hope) a little more close to how it looked on Morrowind.

Safe to install/uninstall at any time, since there are no new records and/or scripts involved.
It might be needed to simply unequip/equip back Sunder if the mod was installed/uninstalled while the weapon was currently equipped, or it might appear as invisible.

This mod has been developed following a request from SaintJuib, who asked if anyone would have been up to this - apparently - easy task, and to whom I am thankfull for unintentionally giving me the opportunity to meddle in this little project and gain some new skills. I personally had ~0 knowledge on '3D stuff and such ' prior to this effort, and it took me HOURS to get it remotely started at all. I still have ~0 knowledge on '3D stuff and such ' as of now but I think I did everything right; let me know if there's something off!
