For anyone getting an "Invalid Profile: ImmersiveCamera.ini" error, it's because Immersive Camera has updated. You can update this mod by doing the following:

1. Open this mod's folder and go to the ImmersiveCamera.ini file. It should be located somewhere like: ...\skyrimse\Aetheos' Immersive Improved Camera SE Preset-97738-0-7-0-1709420969\SKSE\Plugins\ImprovedCameraSE\Profiles
2. Delete everything and paste the text in the following link in its place. Sorry, it was more characters than Nexus comments would allow. The link should be good for a month. Anyone have recommendations how to share it for longer?: https://sharetext.io/4f844fb1
3. If you are using the no head bob version repeat these steps in the ImmersiveCamera - noHeadbob.ini file, but change all the [HEADBOB] values to zero. bIdle=0 bWalk=0 bRun=0 bSprint=0 bCombat=0 bSneak=0 bSneakRoll=0
This should work. I just copied all the values from this mod over to the v1.1.1 of Immersive Camera SE. If this doesn't work for you let me know so I can fix this comment. David12a, feel free to snag this or have me take it down. Thank you for your preset <3
Yeah, unfortunately considering this otherwise really good preset dead until it becomes compatible with the latest Improved Cam, v1.1.1 brought actually really solid fixes to the mod and I'd rather not lose those when I could just find a new preset or tinker with my own.
Make the following changes to ImmersiveCamera.ini (or the noHeadbob alternative).
Remove bArcheryGameplayOverhaul
Remove fSwitchPOVDetectDistance
Remove bSmoothAnimationTransitions
Add fFirstPersonDefault=15.000000
This should make your file compatible and prevent the error message saying the profile is bad and the .dll file failing. Basically do a comparison of the profile .ini file against the Default.ini in the original mod (ver 1.1.1) and see what is added/missing and make them consistent.
I've been stuck with dll issues for hours. Nothing I do works. Not changing fileversionmax, not changing profilename, using a different verision, whatever. Nothing works.
Looked back through old reddit posts and it seems some mods may be incompatible with Improved Camera.
Hello David12a. On your screenshots health/mana/stamina bars of different lengths. How to do the same? I installed TrueHUD and Untarnished, but all bars are the same length :(
It seems that field below is missing in current config causing validation to fail: fFirstPersonDefault=15.000000
15 is default value.
Config file is under: Skyrim Special Edition\Data\SKSE\Plugins\ImprovedCameraSE\Profiles\...
However, with all values from this config I was having strange water bug occuring only in first person and only with weapon drawn making water suddenly more transparent. I did not try to get to the exact lines causing it, so I created own profile mixing Improved Camera Default and copied-over values from CAMERA, HEADBOB and FOV sections of this config. Works fine so far.
When I use this preset and activate it in the improved camera menu, the next time I start the game I get a DLL error... Setting default again solves it.
the ini's are oudated for all versions beyond 1.1-beta2. i tested most version from 1.0 to 1.1.1 and the version 1.1-beta2 is the latest version what still works with the latest version of this mod
That is correct. The Latest version of the preset works for that version as that was last version I tested or downloaded was 1.1 beta2 and the new versions have changed things such as removing the archery gameplay or quick light fixes settings etc. Which also means that I do need to install the new version of IC and remake my preset for it.
and I should make a FOMOD so that people can pick what version of IC they use as the old versions use different INI files, but I know how they work and what I can with them (as trying to make 6 pickable options was way too hard as that would have required hundreds of different ini files and I had put off uploading a new version when I was trying to figure out how to do that (in vain)), just having one for the different versions is doable and shouldn't take long though.
I will upload a new version tonight then. I haven't been playing lately and am still on the old version so I didn't test it (I just looked at the change logs and noticed that the controller buffer was set to not be used in the new version), Thank you for letting me know.
EDIT: About me uploading a fix in one day, yeah that didn't happen. I had gotten the bright idea to make a FOMOD this time and make it so that one can pick different options...
Which is nice however as I have 6 options (including one for mod version) and each combination of options needs a different file, that means I need to make over a hundred different versions of the inis... So It will be a bit before I finish making them. I will see you all then!
I had forgotten to upload an updated one for the new versions, but it should work, yes.
Do tell me if it doesn't though, I believe there is all of the newly added options from IC 1.1(with the removed options commented out) in it, but I haven't tested it much yet as I haven't been playing lately.
If it deosn't work then the old versions would however one would need to change the ImprovedCamera.ini file to have FileVersionMax=1.6.1170.0 like mentioned on IC's mod page (the pinned post there)
Thanks for the preset! I love it, but I have run into an issue. My head clips through walls and I can see past them in first-person. What can I do to fix this?

The mod author of this preset has not had enough time to update it,
so in the mean time, try to use Improved Camera SE 1.1.0 for this preset to work.
- Remove bArcheryGameplayOverhaul
- Remove fSwitchPOVDetectDistance
- Remove bSmoothAnimationTransitions
- Add fFirstPersonDefault=15.000000

Gives the error that the profile is incompatible at startup.
Think it involves bOverrideVanillaArmsOnMovement needing to be moved under fixes and fControllerBufferDepth1st needing to be uncommented.
