Yes I know there are at least 2 other mods like this, but they both use the original N64 version. So I decided to do the 3DS version with gimp. Unfortunately the select by color option simply would not work like it should, so there is a bit of black around the moon as you can see. Also, the moon is not usually upright and there's nothing I can do about that. Same with the moon being slightly seethru. If you think you can edit the textures better then be my guest. Anyway, simply download the .zip file manually to data\textures and then right-click it and select the "extract here" option. There should now be a folder titled "sky" in the textures folder. Note that there are only textures for one moon, Masser, but if you want it for the other, Secunda, simply change masser to secunda in each texture file name. If you want both moons, (as if one wasn't scary enough) just copy the files to another folder and change masser to secunda in the copies file names, then move the copies to the sky folder where the originals are.
