Changelogs
Version 2.5
Branch meshes were completely reworked from scratch
Seasonal Landscapes Support Added
Version 2.0
Both meshes had UV maps altered. Root positioning changes made to TundraDriftwood01.nif
Textures were complete remade for both bark and branches.
Version 1.6
Fixed collision on non-parallax mesh for TundraDriftWood01
Version 1.5
Edited mesh to smooth shading and get rid of harsh light transitions
Normal texture strength increased
Version 1.07
Changed branch/root Lighting Effect 1 from 10 to 1.5. Should reduce branch glowing when sun is at a low angle but may cause the backs of branches to look darker in normal lighting.
This mod replaces the textures and meshes for tundra driftwoods. The bark texture was enhanced using AI up-scaling. The branch textures were remade using photo resources.
Bonus: Since the coastal driftwood mesh uses the same textures, they will get a texture update too.
The textures for version 2.0 have been remade. The meshes had adjustments made to the UV maps and the lighting effect for branches on TundraDriftwood01 was toned down.
Version 2.5 has completely remade meshes for the branches and adds support for Seasonal Landscapes in the Spring, Summer, and Autumn. The Spring/Summer version of the tree still looks mostly dead with a sparse scattering of green leaves. The leaves are fewer in number and brown/orange on the Autumn version of the tree. For users who do not use Seasonal Landscapes, the branches will have no leaves.
Installation Notes Choose only one main file. Make sure the meshes and textures from this mod overwrite/win the conflict with any other mods you may have that alter the tundra driftwood. Otherwise, you won't see any changes.
Fixes applied in FIxed Mesh Lighting and Assorted Mesh Fixes were addressed in the meshes for this mod. Those mods will not provide any additional fixes not offered here, so let this mod win the conflict.
If you are user version 2.5 or above and also use Seasonal Landscapes, this mod must win any conflicts with Seasonal Landscapes.
For the complex parallax option to work need one of the following:
A version of ENBSeries that supports Complex Parallax OR
Community Shaders + Complex Parallax Materials
Permissions This is shared with open permissions. It may be ported to other versions of the game or used as you see fit. The bark texture was up-scaled from Bethesda's original textures for the game and the branch textures were from an obtained using a creative commons license.
