Overview
- A straightforward, no-hassle environment improvement mod
- Integrates under-utilised assets from the Dawnguard DLC into the wider world of Skyrim
- Mod replaces at least ~500 repetitive objects (i.e., ferns, dead shrubs, totems, etc.) with gleamblossoms and caveworms in Falmer hives
- Mod provides Falmer hives with more distinction
- Gleamblossoms and caveworms have a subtle FX element (moving)
- Gleamblossoms provide alchemical ingredients when harvested. Caveworms do not provide ingredients
- Gleamblossoms and caveworms will glow if using the recommended mods
Locations
- Not all Falmer hives receive replacements. I focused on hives in caves. The locations effected are:
- Arkngthamz
- Blackreach
- Chillwind Depths
- Darkwater Pass / Cavern
- Duskglow Crevice
- Frostflow Abyss
- Gloomreach
- Liar's Retreat
- Lost Echo Cave
- Shimmermist Cave
- Sightless Pit
- Stillborn Cave
- Tolvald's Cave
Compatibility
Highly compatible with most setups, and with most other mods
- Mods that remove flora in Falmer hives will not be compatible
Installation and Uninstallation
Whenever. Use the mod manager of your choice to install or uninstall. Or manually.
Configuration
- Mod is currently configured at a 100% (chanceS(100))
- Users can adjust the frequency of the replacement by opening the .ini and editing the number in chanceS(100). 0-100. 0=0%, 100=100%, 50=50% etc.
- Mod is also currently configured to insert gleamblossoms and caveworms in a range of different sizes
- Users can adjust the size/scale of the gleamblossoms and caveworms by opening the .ini and editing the numbers in scale(1.6/1.9). When editing the scale, units must be in floats (e.g., 10.0)
