   Interesting concept! 
   
   Is it possible to combine your concept with that of "GKB Waves Reborn" mod? Whilst that mods' waves were good, the lack of animation and blending made it look like a static sheet was moving up the shore and down again. Your mod seems to provide a solution to animation and blending.
