It has almost been a year since the release of this progress vid, but i start to wonder when it will release. Or just some kind of indication when it will be released? But anyway. This looks damn good!
Wonderful work Surjamte, this is what Riften should have been in the beginning, a city of thieves. Unlike Vanilla Windhelm, vanilla Riften was never awful per se, but it was something of a disappointment, it never seemed fully fleshed out, it never seemed to reach it's full potential. Over the years some mods like JK's and Dawn of Skyrim as well as some others have helped, but still, it just never seemed to really make Riften shine like it should have. Your mod is the very first to truly revolutionize Riften and give it a brand new lease on life. I like what you did with subtlety altering the rooflines for Riften to make it possible to sneak about on the rooftops with out the over the top (pun not intended) mods that have catwalks and zipper lines all out in the open for everyone including the guards to see. I like how you gave the building's roof lines more character with resources from the great cities. I like how you are expanding the size of the inhabited area on the sub ground level (hopefully this will involve a significantly expanded and repopulated Ratway as well with a lot more entrances in and out of it including some secret entrances) I guess, what I'm trying to say is that I really do like your mod. So I look forward to seeing more progress on your Riften mod and I really look forward to seeing this used with fortified Riften. :)
