This is for the GOG version. The save locations should be similar. You can find/search the HK*.SAV file type on your system directory to find the save files. I suggest doing that before you download my files, so you don't get confused which saves are which.
This is an excellent save game. I played Club Bam Bam on the NG+ save and upon completing the karaoke song I got the achievement for having sung all songs with a rating of over 90%. I played the s#*! out of this game growing up and throughout the years, but not on Steam, so it's nice that there are these saves out there to help out in the more straining activities such as singing and racing.
Yeah, despite the bad sales, I really like it. It's authentic for any Hong Kong'ers out there (or as authentic as you're going to get before gaming went super-woke).
You've been there? That's cool. Everyone who's played the game seems to have fallen in love with the virtual HK. It's just very dense and full of little everyday details like people watering their plants, sweeping the sidewalk, old people sitting around drinking tea... Feels like my downtown capital, Recife - Brazil. Both are near water, dense with people and buildings and have tons of loud commerce.
this game had bad sales? i thought it did good. i wish we had a second one or another spirtual successor like this one was. yakuza would be awesome actually.
Unfortunately, my only experience with a virtual Brazil was the Favela level in CODMW2 ... but virtual cities would be neat if they have functional services (like in the GTA series) or InFamous' fictional Empire City.
Brazil is heavily featured in Max Payne 3. Can't say that I loved it there though, It's kind of an amalgam of different places, and the accents don't fit for where they say the setting is.
Bruh I have soo many hours in this game and never even heard of that glitch lol
Nice addition to the save file btw I feel like this file has its own legacy that goes beyond just me and thats pretty neat.
I thought about doing safe house upgrades but at the time I think my thought process was "thats part of shopping and you can't do all the shopping until after getting enough Face so might as well just let the player do it themselves." But now I realize I should have done it because finding the salespeople for the upgrades is kinda annoying. Nice work!
Yeah, your file was great (because I missed out one T-shirt from a lockbox); the safehouse upgrades were kinda hard to find (much like the bonus face missions in each district you encounter on the map with a surprise Calvin appearance). Thanks for the base save to start me off though!

I don't know anything about Steam stuff. This version of Sleeping Dogs Definitive was from GOG.
