It was another tough competition for us. We had a bunch of fantastic submissions as usual, and deciding our winners doesn’t seem to be getting any easier! Just a quick update for you all - this will be our last competition for a little while, but we’ll be picking them back up again in the near future. As I mentioned in the Monthly Roundup, the Content Team has moved into a new office space. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be setting up our new content room and focusing on in-house videography to bring some exciting new things your way.
As always, we understand that everyone will have their own favourites, but let’s keep comments positive and light-hearted. After all, this competition was meant to be fun, and we want to ensure our winners feel respected and celebrated.
1st Place - SerialNuggetEater: This Fallout 4 entry really stood out to us, the blue hues and grainy texture add a sense of nostalgia and a somewhat dreamlike feeling to this subtle yet tender moment of watching shooting stars with a loved one.
2nd Place - ReddArnage: This one just popped, there were no two ways about it. The vibrancy of colours, the lighting, it all came together beautifully. We also loved the creative use of either Appearance Menu Mode or Photo Mode Unlocker to pose Panam and their V together.
Now heads up, I’ve gone a little rogue with 3rd place! Our 1st place winner, SerialNuggetEater, chose to opt out of receiving a prize, and as a team, we were really torn between these two entries for 3rd place. We struggled to pick just one, so… I thought, why not have both? Since we had the extra funds for another prize, that’s exactly what we did!
3rd Place - ilikedetectives: Writing this up, I realise we’ve unintentionally gone for a bit of a blue theme with our choices, we seem to be partial to images with a dreamlike vibe. I wonder what that says about us as a team? Anyway, we loved the dreamy effect, with the blurred twinkling of lights in the background, and how it captures another, soft, subtle and tender moment. Especially as it contrasts with how Minthara is initially absolutely none of those things.
Also 3rd Place - 7thNighthawk: We loved this cosy, romantic moment between the couple in Fallout New Vegas. We could feel the warmth of the fire, the way it casts its glow around the room, and the comforting feeling of being curled up with a loved one, sharing a special moment.

My data folder is exceeding 100GB so it would take too long to name them all but here's a few that kinda play a big role in that shot.
I use a custom version of Dynamo ENB which is an ancient ENB for NV. All the high res texture packs like Ojo Bueno and the likes. The guitar is from "Better guitars" and the male outfit is from "Heroes of the Apocalypse 2.0" while the female one is a mashup from "Elegant jeans" and the "wanted" set over on ahz' Discord. Female textures are a custom version of DK female textures worked on by zz and the male textures are from Improved Male Vanilla textures.
Really love both Fallout entries, such different vibes and yet both so comfy
