Hi everyone! I present to you an AI upscale mod which was made using Real Esrgan and PyTorch. This has been something I have been working on for the past few months, and I am quite proud of the final results. I hope you will enjoy this mod, too.
I have included a 2nd mod (which I made as well) in the same mod, which is a ring trail fix for Seaside Hill. A certain ring trail in that stage is broken in the vanilla game.
These 2 mods are specifically only for the PC release of Sonic Heroes. I do not plan to make a GameCube version for either of them.
Here are a few mods I recommend using alongside this one. All links are GameBanana links, except for Sonic Heroes Memory Editor, which is on Sonic Retro. You will need the Reloaded Mod Loader to run this mod + the recommended mods.
- Frog Forest and Lost Jungle texture fix
- Widescreen Revamp
- Graphics Essentials
- 4X GUI (if you want to play with the HUD).
- Sonic Heroes Memory Editor (to remove the HUD, optional). Memory Editor doesn't require Reloaded Mod Loader to run.
- Japanese Import (If you prefer Japanese over English).
- LOD Ring Removal
- Bare Bones Conversion of Team Super (for Team Super Sonic gameplay).
This mod is not compatible with other mods that have custom characters or levels (such as E3 Grand Metropolis).

Game textures may flicker sometimes. This is a bug in the vanilla version of the PC port. It has nothing to do with the upscale mod itself.
