Config significantly improves the quality of shadows and the distance at which they are rendered, increases the drawing distance of objects, reflections now are more stable and clear.
Config tries to improve terrible software lumen that is used in the game, reduce light flicker and light leakage.
Adds ray reconstruction.
THIS CONFIG IS REALLY DEMANDING, IT CAN CUT YOUR FPS TWICE!
Version 2.0 - better perfomance, less VRAM usage with pretty much the same visual quality as previous version.
There is two versions - Ultimate and Balanced. Balanced looks slightly worse, but at the same time is less demanding.
Before you install the config, you need to add ray reconstruction to the game. I also suggest you to update the DLSS to its latest version.
UPDATE: There is now version that doesn't require ray reconstruction to be added.
INSTALLATION
1) Download the ray reconstruction file:
https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-dlss-3-ray-reconstruction-dll/
2) Put this file to the game folder where you installed stalker 2, for example:
Steam\steamapps\common\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chornobyl\Engine\Plugins\Marketplace\DLSS\Binaries\ThirdParty\Win64
3) Download the config file and put it to the stalker 2 data folder:
\Stalker2\Saved\Config\Windows
