Description

What is this mod about? Project Itemization is trying to fix an issue with lack of lootable items that makes exploring the world kinda boring and not rewarding. Also, this mod presents it's own consumable effects overhaul with custom consumable items (optional).

Note: Items don't have proper meshes yet. No animations or proper sound effects for some consumables as well. Waiting for SDK from GSC.

- Mod is adding ~50 new items. All of them distributed among stashes, destructible containers and NPCs.

- Mod also overhauling consumable effects (only for full version of mod):

  •  All effects now displayed with numbers instead of effect levels : 'Weak, 'Medium', 'Strong'.
  •  Using meds now make you sleepy, hungry or drunk aka intoxicated. You still can pop couple medkits in a row, but you will be a bit dizzy. Using more will cause even more dizziness. In this case, you might bring some extra food or extra drugs to deal with high levels of drunkenness.
  •  Almost all of the ''instant'' effects have been replaced by long-lasting effects.
So, for example, now medkits are healing much slower. But don't worry. I added an alternative for fast healing - stimpaks. Food is also doesn't satiate you immediately. Same goes to negative satiety effects for other consumables.

Here's more info about how long some effects lasts. I would love to add this info in the game, but sadly Stalker 2 UI sucks :/

Satiety
:
  • negative effect  - 60 seconds (except for energetic drinks, they're instant).
  • positive effect  - 60 seconds

Fatigue :
  • negative effect  - 30 seconds.
  • positive effect  - 30 seconds for everything, but Energetic drinks, Hercules, Caffeine tablets and Cocaine also provide long-lasting effect.

Drunkenness :
  • negative effect  - depends on drug or consumable you take. For example, if you drink 1 bottle of beer, you won't be drunk. 2 bottles in a row will change that. If you decide to use Yadulin, it will make you drunk af for ~1min. In this case consumables that decrease drunkenness effect might be handy, hehe.
  • positive effect  - around 12.5 seconds.

I tried to make it more complex, but not over complicated and fun. I hope you will enjoy it. But if you didn't and want to leave a feedback, go to 'Posts' section on Nexus, or join Project Itemization public in Grok's Discord server. I check 'Posts' on Nexus, but it's easier to catch me there.

For first installation, choose the version of mod you prefer and move mod files to this directory : .../YourGame'sName/Stalker2/Content/Paks/~mods
(if you don't have this folder, create it)
.

For updating, you should properly uninstall the mod (information is below, read carefully) and only then move new mod files to ~mods folder.
