1. start the game and make your graphics settings 2. quit and restart the game, to create shaders for your previously done settings 3. quit again, after shaders have been created 4. install this mod 5. start the game without shader warmup
note: if you reinstall drivers and/or make any changes in your graphics settings, you have to disable this mod before and let the game create new shaders, for your new settings. You can install the mod again after.
Thanks for this info, I had to make a new text document in the directory you listed and simply add the contents you listed but of course set it to 0 instead of 1 because I wanted to disable warmup. I renamed that new text document to game.ini and it worked just fine the 20 min warmup didn't happen anymore.
Much appreciated! one line added to engine.ini (with 0 instead of 1) warmup disabled. until I make changes to driver or graphic setting... MUCH better start up with no performance impact.
I know this. And not only in this game, changing some graphic parameters requires restarting the game. But what will recompiling shaders do for me after changing the graphics settings, if to fully applying them all I need to do is restart the game at most ?

To avoid problems:
1. start the game and make your graphics settings
2. quit and restart the game, to create shaders for your previously done settings
3. quit again, after shaders have been created
4. install this mod
5. start the game without shader warmup

edit the file "engine.ini" in the %localappdata%\Stalker2\Saved\Config\Windows\Engine.ini
[SystemSettings]
r.PSOWarmup.WarmupMaterials=1
And the file UserEngine.ini
[SystemSettings]
r.PSOWarmup.WarmupMaterials=1
Save and enjoy
Everyone who wants to compile shaders again, pretty sure this guy has the answer

No. Everything works fine anyway.
Who told you that you need to recompile shaders every time after changing graphics settings ?
